RpMc
Raiders are shopping both Amari Cooper and Karl Joseph... which aging vets could we trade to Gruden for them? Andrew Sendejo and Aldrich Robinson cover it?

I know they signed a huge deal (last year? ) for one...... Edited October 14, 2018 by PrplChilPill
wcblack34
Cooper would be awesome. But he’d be a rental. We couldn’t afford to sign Cooper long term with Thielen and Diggs. But it would be fun to see those three together with Cousins. Then we could use every draft pick we didn’t trade on offensive line ?

But I'd rather trade for Patrick Peterson.....I guy can dream....

SteelKing728
We need more help at guard than tackle though I doubt we look to trade anybody, but I've entertained the idea of selling high on Sendejo and Cook.
RpMc
Wouldn’t be selling high on Cook.

vike daddy
Stan Kroenke can take back the Nuggets and the Avalanche from the family members who were running them on his behalf. Via Daniel Kaplan of SportsBusiness Journal, the NFL finally has scrapped the rule that prevents owners from owning non-NFL teams in markets containing other NFL teams. The rule resulted in Kroenke, upon buying the Rams, transferring ownership of the Colorado Avalanche and the Denver Nuggets to members of his family. Now, Kroenke can own non-NFL teams in any market. And so can any of the other NFL’s owners. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/10/17/nfl-finally-ditches-cross-ownership-policy/
vike daddy
Jaguars owner Shad Khan’s long and expensive attempt to purchase London’s Wembley Stadium has fallen short. Khan put out a statement today saying he will no longer be moving forward with his bid to buy the world’s most famous soccer stadium, where NFL games are also played. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/10/17/jaguars-owner-shad-khan-not-buying-wembley-stadium/

Maybe an NFL owner can come in and save the Timberwolves and/or the Twins.
vike daddy
With three field goals and an extra point on Sunday, Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri would take sole possession of a significant NFL record: The most points ever scored. Vinatieri has scored 2,535 points in his NFL career. The all-time record of 2,544 points is held by Hall of Fame kicker Morten Andersen. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/10/17/adam-vinatieri-10-points-from-morten-andersens-all-time-scoring-record/
vike daddy
Saints quarterback Drew Brees has the opportunity to do something extraordinary on Sunday: Earn a victory over his 32nd NFL team. If the Saints beat the Ravens on Sunday, Brees will have been the starting quarterback when his team earned a victory over every NFL team. Only Brett Favre and Peyton Manning have accomplished that feat before. Of course, it’s impossible to earn a win over all 32 teams if you haven’t played for multiple teams. Brees beat the Saints when he played for the Chargers and the Chargers when he played for the Saints. According to Pro Football Reference, three active quarterbacks have beaten every team except the team they play for: Tom Brady has beaten every team but the Patriots, Aaron Rodgers has beaten every team but the Packers and Ben Roethlisberger has beaten every team but the Steelers. The only other quarterback who has wins over 31 teams is a surprising one: Kerry Collins, who started in a win over every team except the Dolphins in his 17-year career with the Giants, Titans, Panthers, Raiders, Colts and Saints. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/10/18/if-saints-beat-ravens-on-sunday-drew-brees-will-have-wins-over-all-32-teams/
