It would be managed the same way it probably is now when they come up on the schedule. The schedule dictates who the home team is, and the home team is the one that can have all their STHs at the game.

And I imagine 30 other teams would be complaining that they both really have "9" home games every year instead of once every 4 years. vike daddy
The Patriots’ pass defense is dominating opposing quarterbacks like no defense we’ve seen in a long time. Maybe like no defense ever. The most incredible statistic to sum up how the Patriots’ pass defense is playing is this: New England has 18 interceptions this season, while allowing one touchdown pass. League-wide, there are more than twice as many touchdown passes as interceptions — unless the Patriots’ defense is on the field. So far this season the Patriots’ defense has been responsible for 10.4 percent of all the interceptions in the NFL and has allowed just 0.3 percent of all the touchdown passes in the NFL. The Patriots’ defense has allowed a cumulative passer rating this season of 35.6. The league average is 91.4 https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/10/23/patriots-have-18-interceptions-while-allowing-1-touchdown-pass/

Next week, when they face Baltimore, will be the first offense they've faced that's in the top half of the league all season. Hell, they haven't faced one even out of the bottom 10 yet. But they have ridiculously dominated. Over a stretch of games. They have been as great as possible, really, against the pass. Regardless of opponent, this is truly impressive.

I'm not even sure some of those teams could have even competed with the worst NFL teams from a decade ago.
vike daddy
Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan hadn’t missed a game since 2009. His streak of 154 consecutive starts will end on Sunday. As noted by Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford now has the second-longest starting streak for quarterbacks, at 134. Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers continues to hold the current the longest starting streak for quarterbacks, at 215. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is in third place with 119, followed by Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins with 72. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/10/26/matthew-stafford-will-now-have-second-longest-starting-streak-for-quarterbacks/
vike daddy
The specific timetable for Mahomes remains unclear (as it was a week ago), but Mahomes has a chance at getting back sooner than later because of the way his knee is constructed. Ian Rapoport of the NFL explains that Mahomes has naturally loose knee ligaments, resulting in only one ligament being affected by the kneecap ending up in a spot where kneecaps don’t normally go. The end result was the best-case scenario for Mahomes. Still, it’s unknown how that best-case scenario translates to Mahomes playing football again. Per Rapoport, Mahomes has an “outside chance” to face the Vikings next Sunday, and a “very realistic shot” to play against the Titans the following Sunday. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/10/27/patrick-mahomes-benefits-from-having-unusual-knees/
vikesfan89
If they were smart they would sit him against the Vikings unless he is 💯. Not conference game with a team that likes to hit the quarterback
vike daddy
The Patriots’ defense has been otherworldly this season, and no stat describes that better than this: Halfway through the season, New England’s defense has scored as many touchdowns as it has allowed. New England has four defensive touchdowns this season, with Jamie Collins and Stephon Gilmore each having a pick-six this season, and Dont'a Hightower and Kyle Van Noy each recovering a fumble for a touchdown. And New England has only allowed four touchdowns (two passing, two running) all season. The 49ers’ defense has allowed seven touchdowns and scored two, for a solid differential of just five more touchdowns allowed than scored. The 49ers are the only defense other than the Patriots that isn’t allowing at least one more touchdown than it scores per game. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/10/28/patriots-defense-has-allowed-four-touchdowns-scored-four-touchdowns/

Baker Mayfield may be the best of the bunch but even he has been awful this year.
Vikes_Bolts1228
Soooo....Flacco heading to the I.R. it sounds like. We'll be playing our 4th back-up QB against the Broncos in week 11 (Daniel, Haskins, soon to be Matt Moore, then something called Brandon Allen.) Yay? vike daddy
Tom Pelissero✔@TomPelissero The Bengals are making a QB change after the bye. Andy Dalton goes to the bench. Rookie Ryan Finley expected to start. drafted the same year as Ponder, right?

And along with Cam Newton, Blaine Gabbert (backup to Winston in Tampa) and Tyrod Taylor (backup to Rivers), as the only ones left from that class.
