When does every 1st Round QB start?

What do you think?

IMO:

Trevor Lawrence - Week 1

Zach Wilson - Week 1 (although shouldn’t be, they should of signed a vet and start Wilson Mid-Season, huge play difference from BYU’s conference)

Trey Lance - Week 17 if 49ers are not a playoff team. If the 49ers are a playoff team, then 2022 Week 1.

Justin Fields - Week 5

Mac Jones - Week 1 (beats out Cam in camp, not hard to do)

The concepts they run at BYU (pretty much the WCO) are similar to the concepts Mike LaFleur will run with the Jets. I think Zach Wilson will pick up the playbook pretty quickly because of that. So, he should be ready week 1. With that said, we've met recently with Brian Hoyer. So, I could see us picking him up and letting Zach Wilson sit until the bye.

Trevor Lawrence - Week 1

Zach Wilson - first game after the bye ( I suspect they will handle him really carefully)

Trey Lance - 2022

Justin Fields - first game after the bye

Mac Jones - week 14 once NE is mathematically eliminated (While he is a smart QB - NE's offense is complicated with their option routes. I think he'll likely get his first late in the season).

I think Jets should start Wilson after the bye as well, but they have no one else to start. Their guys behind Wilson are horrendous.

I think we will sign a vet in the next couple of weeks. We had met with Brian Hoyer a couple of weeks ago after the Darnold trade. Just my guess of course, but I think we will sign him or someone like him in the next couple of weeks.

Those all look pretty good to me except I'd say Mac isn't until like Week 8 if not longer.

Pretty sure Fireman Ed will personally assault Saleh and co. if you guys trot out Brian Hoyer week 1 over Wilson

no chance

Haha. When you put it that way, you're probably right. Our fanbase could revolt. Although we were pretty patient with Sam Darnold. So, if the organization comes out and says Wilson sitting is in his best interest, I think our fanbase will support it. We're desperate for this thing to work out. And Saleh and Douglas have our trust.

Nick Mullens was born to be a back up QB, if he heals up and is ready for training camp he would be a decent veteran presence that knows the system.  He plays fearless but is physically limited, would be a good mentor to Wilson.

Lawrence - Day 1

Wilson - Day 1

Lance - Weeks 6-9 window, probably through a Jimmy injury

Fields - After bye

Jones - Week 8 onwards

Exactly. If Jimmy G doesn't get hurt though Lance might wait awhile. SF has a roster that's ready to compete right now.
