again, he couldnt run press/ man schemes last year. you dont run a press scheme when you have nothing but scrubs outside of Ward.

he has already stated that injuries to the DB hampered what he wanted to do last year

We'll see.

Wilson basically is getting more Guaranteed   money than any player drafted after pick 190

Honestly we should just do this with any UDFA we prize. It's so little money when it comes down to it, just pays a guy like he's a 6th/7th rounder, which is nothing, instead of an UDFA.

No, that they are drafting guys who excel in press and expect to see more of it.

Neewsome is good at all of it, but is specifically known for excelling at off-man and zone coverage.

Cleveland Browns

  • DT Marvin Wilson, Florida State
  • RB Tre Harbison, Charlotte
  • CB Manny Rugamba, Miami (OH)
  • DE Romeo McKnight, Illinois State

We must have a scout that loves Charlotte players. We either bring them on as UDFAs or draft them.

I'm salty they didn't go get Quintin Morris from Bowling Green. You want a TE/WR replacement for free when Njoku leaves, there he was.

Marvin is better than the guys we drafted after round 4.

A lot of competition at the bottom end of the dline spot and the same for the defensive backs and linebackers.

Mack wilson and sheldrick redwine are really going to struggle to make the team. I thought redwine was good at times last year.

Good

We need to improve special teams too.

Wilson, Redwine, Natson, Hodge and, hopefully, Hubbard, are potentially gone.
