Kiwibrown
Easily the best front office we have ever had! No more trading away runningback for a 1st and being super smug about it. No more drafting midget drug addict qbs. Or taking a corner high who doesn't like football. Or an overweight dt and a weak center and then an underweight, small, unathletic pass rusher. As much as I liked Sachi- he was drafting under talented guys at times especially 2016. Dorsey made way too many mistakes- under equipping the oline and over equipping the reciever room. Andrew Berry has been better at identifying talent, pursuing and combing talent to come here. Clearly Berry and Stephanski like each too. I am so pumped for this front office, low ego.
TypicalBrowns10
What’s most important I think is they are on the same page. Allowing analytics with football knowledge itself. Like when Dorsey was here all football no numbers or the will to adapt. That and he put his eggs in a very inexperienced HC candidate and lost poorly. Depo + Berry + Stef is a very calm but very direct approach to the front office. Recipe for success. Also very smart. Berry is head and shoulders above sashi because of his ability to find talent. Granted not one of these guys has played a down yet but our D was trash and he attacked it in FA as well as the draft. It’s a nice change of pace. bruceb
They make it look easy. O needs a major upgrade. Check. Done. D needs a major upgrade. Check. Done. By all rights we should field a top 5 O and a top 5 D this season. Top 5 O + top 5 D = in the hunt. In all fairness, they had a DE, CB and QB in place. But, damn, this much improvement in 2 years is unbelievable.

We are one unit away from awesome and thay is special teams. Usually special teams is the only unit we have been able to count on.

I literally would have to defend the browns to other people by saying it truly started with Lerner not wanting the team for along time. Haslam might be a goof but he wants to win and will fire your *** if you don’t deliver. It starts up top. Before it gets to the players. So we have a hungry owner and now have continuity in the front office. The dominoes usually fall after that. Getting a hungry QB usually helps too. I was wrong about Mayfield and I’m glad I was. Kiwibrown
All pro talents on the browns-guys who could make 1st or second team all pro. 1. Joe bitonio 2. Myles garrett 3. Denzel ward 4. Nick chubb 5. JJ3 6. Conklin 7. Teller Pro bowl level talent. 1. Jarvis 2.. obj 3. JC tretter 4. kareem hunt 5. Clowney 6. Jedrick wils. 7. Jok 8. Baker It is unreal how much talent we have added in the last year or two.

AkronsWitness
I'll let you know after they have to decide who and who not to extend long-term contracts to after this season They have had sort of a cake walk to an extent at this point by just having to add add add add add talent. They haven't had to make any real crucial roster calls. How they handle Baker/Chubb/Ward among others will be their first big test. Being a good front office isn't just about getting talent, it's about how you keep talent and mold, shape it for the long term. Ask the Eagles. sdrawkcab321
Berry is great but he should send flowers to Dorsey for setting the foundation of this team to allow berry to focus on the final details.
candyman93
Berry is extremely aggressive. If he sees a weakness he hammers the **** out of it. Offensive line last year. Defense as a whole this year.

We got a rare perfect storm with Dorsey + Berry. Both added tremendous talent to our roster. Berry freaking nailed it getting Stefanski. Dorsey nailed it getting Baker. Who knows maybe with a quality DB or LB we could have beaten the chiefs.
