Berry is great but he should send flowers to Dorsey for setting the foundation of this team to allow berry to focus on the final details.

Also send flowers to Sashi

NONE of this would be possible without Sashi

Screw sashi. He was almost as bad as farmer. Worst talent evaluator I have ever seen. That Brock with the 2nd round pick was a great move but garbage besides that.

Brock turned into Nick Chubb

he wasn’t the talent evaluator, but Andrew and Pauly don’t come without Sashi

To be fair, Dorsey’s 2019 draft looks horrible.

His saving grace was the 2018 draft + Trading for Wyatt + Trading for OBJ + Signing Jarvis. Those are historically phenomenal moves though.

Trading for OBJ?

What the hell good did that do for us?

Lost a R-1 pick and Peppers.

Yeah he wasn’t great but he was a hell of a lot better than sashi. Sashis biggest pick was Myles. Who was far and away the best prospect in that draft. That was an easy one. But Corey Coleman, kizer, shon Coleman, devalve, Howard Wilson, Kessler. Man he was bad at evaluating.

You guys make me laugh with the revisionist history.

Go look up who was the chief scout/talent adviser those years.

Anyone who dumps on the Sashi regime but praises this one is outing themselves as having way too short a memory.

The team was at two very, very different stages with the two regimes, but they used a lot of similar processes.

The biggest problem with the 2016 team was that it had no qb, and therefore no offensive ability. We needed to do something right and we could have with a offensive line and a wr or two.

Kesler was never going to be it with no mobility and a water pistol arm.

Doesn’t matter who the chief scouts or anyone else was. Sashi was the one making the call. And his drafts sucked. No getting around it.

What about the R-1 pick?

That trade was a big step backward for us.

For what Odell can do I’d still rather have him. They took dexter Lawrence with that pick. And no one after him that round has been anything incredible yet. Odell is a top 10 WR and one of the most explosive players in the game. He’s much more valuable than peppers who can’t cover me and a first rounder who still hasn’t done much.
