OneTwoSixFive
In the Green bay Packers forum I did a post-draft mock, but it never garnered any interest at all, so I'll copy it over to here as i like the idea. It applies to all teams. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Disappointed how the draft turned out ? Think you can do better ? Then it's time for the post-draft mock. The rules. You can choose NOT to make a deal your team did on draft day, but you cannot make any new deals. You can only draft a player that is still on the board when each pick comes around (I used wiki draft to see where all the picks went). Here is my effort: I chose not to move up in the 3rd for the cost of a 4th rounder like the Packers did. 1) DE Levi Onwuzurike 2) OT Brady Christensen 3) CB Ifeatu Melifonwu 4a) DT Daviyon Nixon 4b) WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette 5a) ILB Cameron McGrone 5b) WR Cornell Powell 6a) CB Tay Gowan 6b) S James Wiggins 7) RB Kylin Hill I did do another attempt (not shown) where I did make the deal the Packers did, moving up 7 spots in round 3 at the cost of one of the round 4 picks.. That attempt began OT Teven Jenkins, DT Milton Williams, OC Quinn Meinerz, CB Keith Taylor, LB Garett Wallow, WR Simi Fehoko. It would be nice if this thread was resurrected in a couple of years, to be seen with the benefit of hindsight. Anyone else care to have a go ? THE DUKE
My hindsight Bengals mock had I been picking when each pick was on the board. I will not be trading down. 5. Ja'Marr Chase, WR, LSU 38. Tevin Jenkins, RT, Oklahoma State 69. Joseph Ossai, Edge, Texas 111. Tommy Togiai, DT, Ohio State 149. Evan McPherson, K, Florida 190. Dazz Newsome, WR, North Carolina 202. Chris Evans, RB, Michigan 235. Wyatt Hubert, Edge, Kansas State I'd hate to miss out on Shelvin, but I definitely wouldn't have passed on Jenkins. Hopefully the Bengals are right and Carman is a badass RG and maybe Jenkins isn't what I think he can be.
