Keen on getting rid of him is probably a bit strong.  I think they're tired of going through the same stuff we went with Favre.

I understand being a little fed up. But still, I think Packer's fans should take a look at the Raiders forum and see what it's like not making the playoffs for 10+ years. There are worse things than a disgruntled qb. A toxic FF subforum among them 😂

IF Rodgers hadn't gone through the same thing that Jordan Love is currently going through, I don't think Packers' fans would be bitter about.  But he literally went through this exact same situation.  Rodgers is probably going to go down as the #2 most influential Packer ever.  And I think we're all thankful for what he did.  But no player is bigger then the franchise.

Fair enough. But it's gonna be a tough act to follow.

That was said about Favre, too.  We are kind of used to this kind of thing.  Only this time, we are in charted waters, not uncharted.

I am actually of the belief that Rodgers has already been traded to Denver on a handshake basis.  HEre is my evidence:

- two Bronco insiders reported that a deal was in progress . One of which said that it was practically a done deal.
- Broncos spent a lot of time scouting the top QBs
- Broncos signed Bridgewater in a move some said was to act as a veteran presence while the rookie gets up to speed
- Broncos passed on one of the top QBs - Fields
- Broncos drafted a player at a position that the Packers desperately need
- On June 1st the deal is possible from a financial perspective.

If this is true, expect this to continue for a month. Rodgers wont say anything as he is in on it. Packers will publically say the right things (to save face with all the AR fans). On June 2nd they will announce that they have exhausted all avenues with AR to patch things up. THat they will reluctantly trade him to Denver and wish him the best.

The Packers will get

Pat Surtain, Dre'mont Jones, 2 FRPs

Broncos get

Aaron Rodgers and Kevin King

This theory is insane.  Maybe it's just insane enough to be true from Denver's side, but I don't think the packers would capitulate that quickly to the trade demand.

There's wayyy too many people involved for that to actually be true and not have it been leaked. I don't actually believe that's true.

If GB signs a veteran FA quarterback before their next minicamp, then I'll believe that this could be what has happened.

Till then?  Meh.  It is interesting to think about.

But then there is the Stokes selection.  Two boundary corners from this draft?  Again, if we did have a deal in place, that pick isn't likely Stokes.  But there is the chance that Jaire moves to the slot.

Again.  Interesting.  It fits in regards to getting him out of the division and conference.  Not an "easy" division either, and that is before you insert how Rodgers has played on the west coast.

The issue has been ongoing, apparently since the end of last season. We only became aware recently.
