Plot twist, we drafted Leatherwood to start at RG and Jones-Smith starts at RT.

I'm honestly not all that worried about it if we have D. Good at RT and Leatherwood at RG.

Miller - Inc - James - Leatherwood - Good isn't terrible.

Time will tell, Cable is going to have to earn his money this year.

Good would be a terrible RT. One of the whole reasons we needed a RT so badly is because Good is a pure Guard and only a RT in a pinch. Also, we have no idea if Andre James will be good or not. The extension and being awarded starter is still dumbfounding to me.

Like someone else, Cable is gonna have to really earn his money this year. Some super questionable moves.

He is earning his money.  The money other AFC West teams are paying him to sabotage our team.  Cable makes to many assumptions about who can play where and everyone just trusts him.  Incognito's age (Health), Leatherwoods position change, and Andre James' experience is to much even before we begin the season.  What bothers me the most is there is no flexibility and everyone has their position.  Now if we had signed a starting caliber vet who plays RT then we can assume that will be their position.  But not a rookie with no RT experience.  This is not people in here.  It is Gruden and Mayock.

Still like to add Malick Hooker

I still like Hooker but if they can not find a starting FS after all the secondary players we brought in then we deserve to play with 10 players on defense.

it depends, honestly. Incognito will be 38 years old coming off a major injury. I don't think we can automatically assume he's going to ball out like he did in 2019.

James is a complete wildcard, and we've had the most stable C play in the last half decade because of Hudson.

And then rookies always carry some volatility/risk. Not saying I think Leatherwood would fail at guard, but you never know until you know. I'm actually curious to see if Simpson makes a push to start either ahead of Richie (due to decline) or Good

i've been all aboard the Malik Hooker hype train since the start of the offseason... feel like the Joseph signing put an end to it.

Can't go wrong with giving Hooker a chance  so we can have two pure FS on the roster rotating. with Kjo and Abrams at SS, giving Gillespie time to develop that would be perfect.

Would rather just start Moehrig than mess around with Hooker coming off an Achilles.

I would start Moerig too, but having Hooker as cheap insurance and a pure FS as backup can let Kjo and Abrams play SS.

Hooker visited Miami yesterday. Safe to say if they pass, his injury history is too much.

The Malik Hooker you guys think is available and want so badly doesn't exists. He's not the same player you all want him to be.
