I'd give COY to Snyder and EOY to James Jones. That way the Suns still get recognized for what they did during both the offseason and regular season.

It's unfortunate that Dennis Lindsey and Justin Zanik haven't received much credit for building our roster. They built a team that had the best record in the league without ever having to tank. When Gordon Hayward left most thought we'd be terrible but finding Mitchell at the end of the lottery saved us.

And if you look at our rotation we really have built it around unheralded players for the most part: Conley (acquired via trade pretty cheaply), Mitchell (traded up to #13 to draft him), Bogdanovic (acquired via FA), O'Neale (acquired as an UDFA), Gobert (bought the 27th pick to draft him), Ingles (acquired as an UDFA), Niang (acquired as an UDFA), Clarkson (traded Dante Exum for him), Favors (acquired in the D-Will trade then brought back via FA).

Yeah, they've done a good job too, it's just that the Jazz did that over time, while the Suns did a lot more this offseason. I thought the year they got Conley they would win EOY, but he didn't adjust very well at first. But, again, they've done an incredible job. The Mavs should take notes, especially if they whiff in free agency this year.
