Texas_OutLaw7
Which Training Camp Battle are you most looking forward to? QB # 2 Garrett Gilbert | Ben DiNucci | Cooper Rush Do we keep more 2 or 3 QBs? RB # 3 Rico Dowdle | JaQuan Hardy | Brenden Knox Can any push for playing time? Just a ST role? Returner? How Many WRs are kept after Cooper, Gallup, & Lamb Noah Brown | Cedrick Wilson | Simi Fehoko | Stephen Guidry | Aaron Parker | Malik Turner | Brennan Eagles | TJ Vasher | Brandon Smith | Osirus Mitchell Keep in mind Gallup is a FA next year. Returner? TE / FB role? Jeremy Sprinkle | Sean McKeon | Nick Eubanks | Artayvious Lynn Nick Ralston | Sewo Olonilua Will we keep a FB? Who will be TE3? How many OL? Ty Nsheke | Josh Ball | Mitch Hyatt | Terence Steele | Matt Franiok | Braylon Jones | Connor McGovern | Brandon Knight | Eric Smith | William Sweet | Isaac Alarcon Back-up DE role? Chauncey Golston | Ron'Dell Carter | Austin Faoliu | Breeland Speaks | Tarell Basham | Dorance Armstrong | Bradlee Anae How many do we keep? How many can play inside? Starting DTs? 3DT: Trysten Hill | Neville Gallimore | Carlos Watkins | Justin Hamilton 1DT: Brent Urban | Osa Odighizuwa | Quinton Bohanna Starting Nickle LBers? Leighton Vander Esch | Keanu Neal | Jabril Cox | Micah Parsons | Jaylon Smith Back-Up LBers? Jabril Cox | Anthony Hines III | Luke Gifford | Francis Bernard | Azur Kamara Starting CB? (outside of Diggs) Kelvin Joseph | Jourdan Lewis | Anthony Brown | Nahshon Wright Safeties? FS: Damontae Kazee | Reggie Robinson | Israel Mukuamu | Darian Thompson SS: Donovan Wilson | Jayron Kearse | Rashard Robinson | Steven Parker | Tyler Coyle How many do we keep? Who starts? Punter Hunter Niswander | Bryan Anger What I found most interesting, no starter spots are up for grabs on offense. Defense almost every position will be a battle. I see an interesting argument around core Special Teams players being formed & increasing their value (like Goodwin). I also wonder how many will be considered for Return Duties. I love the depth at OL. I hope we have some pretty epic back-up battles.
quiller
I am really interested in seeing how the safety/LB situation works it self out. Where will Neal figure in all this. Does Neal take a spot from our LB's or Safeties. I also am wondering what happens with Anae. Does he loose his spot because he can not slide inside as well as others on our roster and is not as good a pass rusher as others.

I could easily see him being the one that is cut instead of Anae? But I agree it should be pretty competitive.
DaBoys
Obviously the LBs are the group to watch. You have 5 solid guys that will be, at times, competing for two spots.
buddy_z34
Parsons is a starter after that I have no clue how the LBers will play out. Will it be Smith, Parsons, Vander Esch an Neal as the 4 base LBers?? With Neal being able to slide into coverage. The defensive lineups an personnel that Quinn can play with also intrigues me. Unless Dallas moves LVE at some point or gets injured again, I don't see Parsons starting this year. He's still a raw player. I think 30-35 snaps a game is where he lands until he gets some much needed polish.
D82
I still wonder if they wouldn't hesitate to bring in a...better (?) option at QB after roster cuts.
canadaluvsdallas
I think the Parsons pick was honestly much needed even though it might not have really been a sexy pick. LVE & Jaylon Smith just couldnt matchup with anybody last season. LBs play huge roles in space these days, I can't imagine a legion of boom without bobby wagner manning the middle atleast? LVE was hurt and honestly I cringed at the angles J.Smith took this season for tackling. We could call it his health but he look underprepared this past season. The truth is everywhere in our defense is up for competition cause we sucked big kahoonas last year on that front. We filled a need for a Dan Quinn's defense, and we most certainly needed that since our big 2 LB duo decided not to show up this year. canadaluvsdallas
Plus my rookie petcat is TJ Vasher. Hope he makes the team. Edited May 12, 2021 by canadaluvsdallas
SweetFancyMoses
Interested if both healthy if the starting TE will be Schultz with 1 year left who had a big year last year, or Jarwin who has the starting money.

That's a great point. I penciled jarwin as the starter. But you are right. Good camp battle.

We aren't paying Jarwin a lot of money to where I feel like they'd be obligated to start him...so yeah, I could definitely see that being an open competition. Since Romo lost his job - I no longer believe any job is safe.

Schultz production was very good for a TE who had a revolving door at QB. Would love to see what he could do with Dak for a full season. The competition between the 2 will be fun to watch
Nextyearfordaboyz
Jarwin is a much more dynamic receiving option. Both will get play time. But Jarwin will have a lot more receiving yards if they both (knock on wood) stay healthy.
