Nobody is placing blame. It is a matter of perception. Give Dan Marino a couple Super Bowls and how is he perceived differently? How many SBs did the team win for Brady? I am not saying Carr is a bad player but if he can not lead a team to playoff wins then he loses credibility. Is it right? Probably not but that does not change the fact that it will happen. In order to not lose credibility he would have to play perfect and still lose. Stop paying attention to the world you want to live in and see the one you are living in. I think his teammate's comments were moreso taking a shot at the media for leaking false information. Rap said he has heard from sources close to A-Rod that he's planning to play, etc. And his teammate replied I guess we're not close. Insinuating that the news being reported was different than internal conversations he has had with his teammates. At this stage of the season it'd be almost impossible to move on from him. But IIRC, the way his contract is structured he can walk in free agency next year. And as we've seen in recent years the teams that have taken fliers on older, elite QB's usually make a jump. Carr hasn't proven that he can even win games when they matter the most though. And Adams recently re-opened his contract negotiations with the Packers and has likely just been using us as a trump card in order to force the Packers to meet his contract demands.
