Which honestly, is probably what he's doing. Riling up Browns fans (and getting reactions out of Baker) is good for business. Man I think you can say its a coin flip between, not some huge gap if you do put them above him. His big argument was that Baker hasn't done it enough. Yet those two have?? Oh well our fanbase get's these homies clicks and that's ok.

I don’t care if he’s super athletic, you win from the pocket. Also, a lot of the guys he mentioned don’t have the same arm strength as him. Other than that it’s accuracy, timing, knowing where to throw the ball, etc. If being taller made you a better QB we’d see a bunch of 6’6+ quarterbacks. As far as mobility, the top 5-10 qb’s of all time are all middling athletes (by nfl standards) at best.

You’re absolutely right about everything else. You should try to run a similar system Brees ran in New Orleans when he feels comfortable airing it out. Baker definitely has the tendency to play really hot for stretches, but I think one of the things that most excited me about Baker in the 2020 season is that in the second half his lows weren't as low. He didn't play great in the Las Vegas-Jacksonville stretch of the season, but we still managed to go 3-1 and beat who we were supposed to because he took care of the ball.

In his defense in the raiders game, he barely played. Also he played very solid vs Jags. Posted a 116rating. Defense sucked vs Jags. That was game 2 of garrett missing because of covid

Either way it felt like he quelled the Jekyll and Hyde narrative that some national media is still running with. He only threw 1 interception from week 8 against the Raiders until the end of the regular season.

Quite the opposite of gun-slinging, which was one of my bigger concerns about him. I did not like the Favre comparisons at all. Too sloppy. candyman93
I also expect around 33-36 TDs. The yards won’t happen unless OBJ has a monster comeback season. I need that completion % to move up to 65% though. No more hovering around high 50’s.

So you can pretty much subtract 500 yards from their totals to equal it out so Baker would project 3800-4000. Hopefully anyway, I trust Baker can lead the attack but the run game certainly should control some games.
