The best way to look at keepers is legitimately just keeping your best players.

If it means keeping 8 defenders and 0 offensive players then that should be the motto.

Granted, “best” is subjective. A top 12 QB > a top 10 CB always just given what the QB brings to the team.

But if you’re debating between Chark or Decker, you ideally want to look at who is available in the draft, and if you’re better able to replace one of those positions over the other.

Yeah, definitely. It makes a lot of sense.

ELO is subjective though, no?

if so, i only care about beating the PWNY

Elo has no subjectivity

It moves teams up or down based on result and relative strength of opponent

Last year's ending ELO, normalized to the mean, is used to start the season

How about the old guys killing it this week? Gurley and Peterson were strong on the ground, and Whitworth was a monster. (Yeah, I know Gurley is only 26, but he has the knees of a 62 year old.) Pretty crazy stats.

Wow. That Reykjavik vs. Rio de Janeiro week 1 game was super close. (I think Mike McCarthy should be fired for calling a run up the middle on 2nd down with :38 seconds remaining, down by 5 with Mahomes under center...)

I also believe that Jake Bailey should be added to the list of Players of the Week: his 41 yard punt with 1:20 remaining that was downed on the 1 yard line was a huge play in that game, and likely preserved the victory.

Really entertaining stuff, and my vote for Game of the Week.

You’ll see some wacky stuff with RNG. I had a game last year end on a run when I was down by a FG on the opponent 45 or something, 30 seconds left and we ran it and the clock ran out 😂

Oh boy... talk about conservative playcalling.
