Wow. That Reykjavik vs. Rio de Janeiro week 1 game was super close. (I think Mike McCarthy should be fired for calling a run up the middle on 2nd down with :38 seconds remaining, down by 5 with Mahomes under center...)

I also believe that Jake Bailey should be added to the list of Players of the Week: his 41 yard punt with 1:20 remaining that was downed on the 1 yard line was a huge play in that game, and likely preserved the victory.

Really entertaining stuff, and my vote for Game of the Week.

It was a fun one

That punt in question was a 4th and 2 on the 42 with 1:20 left. I was screaming GO FOR IT, becuase I can accept my offense failing on a 4th and 2 and then giving up a 58 yard TD drive, as opposed to punting it and giving up an 80 yard TD drive

But when I saw that thing downed on the 1 I was happy

I also felt for Ruskie on that running play. I do with there was a tiny bit more input in the playcall logic at certain times. But overall you win some you lose some in these end game scenarios.. I have to imagine it balances out fairly well

You’ll see some wacky stuff with RNG. I had a game last year end on a run when I was down by a FG on the opponent 45 or something, 30 seconds left and we ran it and the clock ran out 😂

I was in the redzone this week, down six with like 30 seconds left and ran it twice to end the game.

This is the stuff that hurts. @TheKillerNacho is there a way to put something in that says you pass 100% of the time late game in situations like this or something? It's all over my head so its a genuine question

Right? Like the "Offensive Aggression" gets bumped up to 100 when losing late in the game.

(I know what you mean about that FG. Rodgers has buried the Lions numerous times by going for that 4th down and shoving that 1st down our throats.)

I had Rodgers throw incomplete deep on 3rd and 3 despite having both of my RB's running pretty well. It was also really weird on drive #1:

Offensive Drive #1 (R - 3; P - 4)

  • R1 - Dillon +4 yds
  • R2 - Dillon + 7 yds
  • R3 - Dillon + 4 yd

casually checked in and did not expect to see games!

gg to my opponent (spoilers below)

That early Rodgers INT set the tone. You did a great job slowing down my running game, but your offense couldn't click

Keep playing around with things. You have a decent squad, and are probably just a WR away from a really strong offense

Quote

Lamar Jackson [2 GS]: 32/56 (57.14%, 105.36 Rating) for 448 yards, 5 touchdowns, 1 interception. 18 carries for 170 yards (9.44 YPC, 32 LNG), 0 touchdowns, 1 fumble.

only 2 games in.. but imagine having Rating over 100 and top 10 in the league in rushing yards

Quote

Stefon Diggs [2 GS]: 10 receptions for 175 yards (17.50 YPR, 30 LNG), 3 touchdowns, 1 drop.
Keenan Allen [2 GS]: 11 receptions for 155 yards (14.09 YPR, 19 LNG), 2 touchdowns.

Happy with this duo

Quote

Defensive Line:
Za'Darius Smith [2 GS]: 8 tackles, 2 sacks.
Stephon Tuitt [2 GS]: 8 tackles (1 stuff), 1 sack.
Cameron Heyward [2 GS]: 6 tackles (3 stuffs).
Carlos Dunlap [2 GS]: 8 tackles (3 stuffs), 1 sack.
