Nacho Simulation Football League (Season 22 - Taco Bowl XXII POSTED!)

Recommended Posts

Felt like I majorly outplayed the Amish, yet only squeeked by with a 3 point win

Score doesn't indicate the game, but still among the most disappointing wins. Felt like I needed a strong rebound there

After another week of intense shuffling (including two rookie QBs starting for the first time this week), we finally get to see how Week 8 unfolds. Will there be any surprises?

ALSO...
We are proud to announce our International Games this season! Just to refresh everyone and explain to the newbies, this is an opt-in procedure involving you giving up one of your remaining home games to expand the NSFL's reach by playing the game in another location. For doing so, you earn one Keeper Tag in the upcoming NSFL season. To sign up, all you need to is specify which of the two games you want to sign up for (you can only sign up for one!). The team to actually be awarded the game (and the tag) will then be a raffle amongst those interested.

The first of our two international games will be yet another bout on the Moon's Lunar Dome, which would replace your next home game after Week 9! Passing is extremely tricky in this low-gravity environment, however! The second of our international games, replacing your final home game before Week 15, will be played underwater (by popular demand). Well, not literally, of course. But it will be the first football game to take place in a submarine - the Navy has given us the green light to use the USS Ohio's cargo deck for the game! Unfortunately, we haven't had the time to actually put down turf (or even dirt) over the slippery steel floors, which may severely dampen the running game!

Moon international game signup:

  • Richmond Flying Squirrels

Submarine international game signup:

  • none

I'm intrigued by the Submarine game. My running game doesn't need any help to be bad....

gg @El Ramster

This felt like every other week - my team is up, offense struggles a bit, defense gets put in a bad position, other team gets back in the game, offense can't get more than 3 scores and it's another L. There has also been a few last minute meltdowns.

The Tacoma Thunder are going to venture with young Zach Wilson for the remainder of the season.

Ben Roethlisberger is on the trade block. You can get one of the top passers of S22 for cheap.

this season feels like more parity than usual. Doesn't feel like we have the runaways that we usually do by the midway point

Green and Yellow each have FOUR teams at 4-4 or better

13 teams have a positive PD

I'd really only eliminate 5 teams at this point

Bonkers. Going to be a really fun second half of the season
