Lakers would’ve been better off with him tbh. So would Philly. Ty Lue deserves nothing for out coaching Quinn Snyder

Doesn't take a basketball genius to have a guy stand in the corner and shoot wide open 3's while Rudy Gobert stands there doing nothing.
YogiBiz
Imagine going 39/9/9 in the biggest game of your season to only find that your Robin isn’t the guy that makes $40M+/year but Royce O’Neale

It'd be nice if our All-Star $35M PG that averaged 20/10 in the 1st round played. LeBron hasn't even been able to get out of round 1 in the West outside the bubble... As did I, didn't know Mike Conley's hammy would fail him in the playoffs. Tough to win without your 2nd All-Star as we saw with LeBron in round 1. Don out there putting up prime Jordan numbers on one leg. But at the end of the day it is bitter sweet. We've ran with this group two years in a row and our lack of guard depth, defensive switch-ability, and dependence on Rudy to mask our defensive issues was exposed. This collapse after last years collapse is one that the front office has to see and really be aggressive in making off-season moves. We have Don under contract but can't imagine he's going to be happy if we continue to lose, we need to make moves before he's gone for greener pastures. The biggest mistake the Jazz have made though is passing on Chris Paul twice. We took Deron Williams over him in the draft and then bet on Mike Conley's health over trying to swing a trade for Paul. Quinn Snyder also has to be on the hot seat after these collapses, his failure to make any adjustments in the playoffs have killed us. But his hands are kind of tied because of our personnel and it's hard to bench Rudy when we're paying him $205M.

The French Fraud has fooled many. He has fooled the Jazz into paying him $300M, fooled the league into giving him 3 DPOY, fooled the fans into voting him as an All-Star, and fooled the media by voting him All-NBA. Comparing Mike Conley to Anthony Davis is a head scratcher at best when one is probably a top 10 player in the NBA, and the one is probably closer to 30 then he is 10. But I digress. As I (and I'm sure others) mentioned before the season, you can't win a championship with Rudy Gobert as your 2nd best player. He's an elite defensive player, but he doesn't offer enough offense in the playoffs when defenses play better. And given the sheer amount of money the Jazz are paying him, you need more production then what they got.
