Bucs Rookie CB Cameron Kinley Denied Permission by US Navy to Play. - Overturned and he signs

Recommended Posts

He was one of our UDFA's and he actually had a pretty good shot to make the roster, as he was a good ST guys as well. It's just a dumb decision by US Navy as it's going to create negative PR and goes against their recent stances with similar guys...

Being in the Navy for 8 years I can say first hand... this is a typical Navy decision 🤣

So dumb

Let the guy follow his dream and if it doesn't work out he's still locked in for 6 years. If it does then he just buys out his contract.

Especially when the last couple prospects who have been in his position, the Navy literally did the exact opposite of what they're doing now and let those guys pursue the football avenue until that door closed.

Seems odd they went against their own grain and on top of that, offered him no explanation on the decision.
