Unless he's getting traded ASAP, I hope he opts out.

Aren’t you a GB fan? There’s no argument to be made Gb is better without Rodgers, or the compensation a trade would bring. Why would you want an opt out?

😠😡😤

(Browns)

I actually like the Packers.

Also me: least favorite players are (1) Russell Wilson, (2) Aaron Rodgers, (3) Roethlisberger, (4) LamaRB

If he's told them (Packers organization), that he plans to opt out if not traded?

He will be traded by July 2nd. Otherwise, Packers wouldn't have Rodgers all yr, yet Rodgers keeps his money.

If he holds out? He doesn't get his money & gets fined as well.

If Packers call his bluff & Rodgers opts out?

True, they get to start Love & see what he has.

But they lose any value Rodgers has in any trade. A year older to boot.

Unless Rodgers changes his mind & comes back?

Packers have to trade him by Next Friday. (July 2nd) Or they screw themselves.

Also, once he opts out? He's done for the yr. Cannot come back this season.

He only keeps his money for a year.

Come 2022, he's going to have to pay up or play for us.

If he opts out then Packers are a loser but Rodgers is a loser by a significantly bigger margin. Its the ultimate shaft your own career and future earnings to annoy your employer move.

Just for everyone's clarity, there is a 0% chance Rodgers opts out. Quote me.

Best to say 1%

A Rodgers opt-out makes zero sense unless he wants to retire and drag it out for laughs. But never say never so I'm going to roll with a 1% chance.

I don't see how opting out looks good for Rodgers.

He keeps his money, but is shifting his teammates.   Still has 3 years on a contract with GB.

He was wiling to play in 2020 during the peak of the pandemic, so opting out to gain leverage ( and keep money) seems like a really bad look.

Never

Source: Aaron just doesn't want me to be happy.

Good player, but he's not what you would call a "people person."

There is no denying that David Lee Roth was awesome.

There is also no denying that he was a grade A turd.

Why can't the same thing be true about some NFL QBs?

Rodgers also has no option to opt out.

He would have to have a real diagnosed condition that makes him eligible to opt out.

He'd also waste a year of his career. (I'm Pretty sure the Packers are going to outlast him)

Years from now people will be able to watch the Packers without Rodgers and Jeopardy without Rodgers.
