I really liked him for the Cards, but it was pretty much how he was for the Falcons. Completely dominant and all over the place some games, and on others you're wondering if he's sitting out or something because you don't hear his name called or see him.

He's unlikely to start.  Krys Barnes, a former UDFA, and Kamal Martin, a former 5th round pick, are slotted as the Packers' starting ILBers.  And given that his contract is exactly $2M, it's highly unlikely that he's the Packers starting ILB unless there's an injury or someone regresses hard.

Exactly. I cant speak to the quality of his play, but one trait I've read about him that may appeal to GB is his ability to stay on the field. He's had little downtime in his career.

In 2016 he played in 11 games. Since 2017, he's played in 16 games every year.

Martin played in only 10 games last year....Barnes in 13.

He's a good ILB for the 3-4 scheme that the Packers run. It wouldn't be surprising to see him win the starting ILB job over what is a UDFA and a 5th round pick. Campbell himself was a 4th round pick and super raw coming out. He's a solid all-around ILB, but does his best when he's stacking and shedding against the run and playing in coverage.

I agree. It is an open competition pretty easily at ILB. He could very well win a starting gig.

Krys Barnes and Kamal Martin have done absolutely nothing to be this confident that they'll start over a guy with 70 career starts at a quality level in the NFL.

I personally think Campbell plays over Martin, and Martin plays only in obvious run downs and on ST.

I'm not saying I'm confident in those two, I'm saying I anticipate Barnes and Martin to get the first shot at winning the starting ILB gigs.  If they fail, Campbell is a pretty solid safety net.
