Yeah as I said Im lower on JT than most but it is good that Wentz and Nelson are coming back sooner than later so thats a plus for JT, I had JT last year and remember on too many occasions when the Colts where in the RZ and seeing Wilkins or Hines down there and asking myself why isnt JT in the game especially in the RZ so I guess I just want to avoid that frustration all together.

I think the last 6 games of the season, he took another step and I think that's the real JT. I'm also a Badger fan and I know how special the kid is. I'm a believer. Plus, it's pick 12. I've picked there a few times and I've ended up with much worse at RB. With my QB and WRs, I just need consistent RB play to be competitive. JT and Swift should be able to provide that. LIS, I'm happy with that team considering where I picked. It's entirely a boom or bust team but if it booms, I could be sitting on a G in my bank account lol.

And that’s how you wanna play fantasy to win it all not finish 4th or even 2nd, I could and will probably be wrong with JT and would probably be all over him if I didn’t roster him last year. Just a case of recency bias in my part.

.5 PPR 12 Team

QB- Herbert

RB- Chubb

RB- Dobbins

WR- Evans

WR- Metcalf

WR- Sutton

TE- Fant

FLX- Gaskin

DEF- Baltimore

K- Prater

Quote

I went 1st- Chubb (5th overall in the most recent/sanest ADP list I've seen) 2nd- Metcalf (18th) 3rd- Evans (36th) 4th- Dobbins (24th) 5th- Sutton (78th) 6th- Gaskin (47th) 7th- Herbert (57th) and 8th- Fant (97th)

Of those I've seen in this thread your team is, far and away, the most likely to finish first.  Dobbins, Gaskin, and Herbert were steals.

12 team PPR (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLX, K, D/ST) 11th pick

1.(11)Saquon Barkley (NYG - RB)

2.(14)Travis Kelce (KC - TE)

3.(35)Terry McLaurin (Was - WR)

4.(38)Miles Sanders (Phi - RB)

5.(59)D'Andre Swift (Det - RB)

6.(62)Jerry Jeudy (Den - WR)

7.(83)Javonte Williams (Den - RB)

8.(86)Trey Sermon (SF - RB)

9.(107)DJ Chark Jr. (Jax - WR)

10.(110)Ryan Tannehill (Ten - QB)

11.(131)Alexander Mattison (Min - RB)

12.(134)Michael Pittman Jr. (Ind - WR)

13.(155)Michael Thomas (NO - WR)

14.(158)Trey Lance (SF - QB)

15.(179)Minnesota (Min - DEF)

I was planning on taking Hurts in the 8th but he was taken right before me

I immediately put Thomas in an IR slot and will pick someone up after the waiver period ends

Interesting team. Tbh I'm not sure i like the beginning of that draft - going Kelce early in combo with taking big question marks at RB in Saquon and Sanders makes me nervous in terms of how thin that might feel early on in the season. On the other hand I absolutely love some of those mid-round picks - you've got a lot of great breakout candidates between Swift, Jeudy, Lance, Sermon, and Pittman, and Michael Thomas is a steal of a stash that late. I think you might struggle early but I could see this team really coming together by midseason or so. My advice to you would just be to see that out instead of getting impatient if you're losing early - the way this team is designed you sort of have to just bank that you can dig yourself out of an early hole if needed.

First off, wow I think you absolutely killed it. AJ Brown at 35? Allen Robinson at 38? Tee Higgins at 86? Javonte Williams outside the Top-10?

Aaron Jones & Jonathan Taylor are a great 1-2 punch. Taylor has less value in PPR but the fact you got him there is great. Considering it sounds like 3 QBs went Round 1, you did very well getting Dak where you did.

I'm not a Sanders guy but at pick 59 that just feels like value and he's your RB3 and might not even be a flex later on

My only real curiousity/complaint is why the heck did you take Higbee at 83? Who went picks 84 and 85? I would've taken Higgins WAY earlier than Higbee(Javonte Williams as well FWIW). Cant hate the value of those 2, you still got them but I just dont see the point in taking any TE there unless its a Top-6 guy. Its not even that I hate Higbee, I see the appeal, its just the value doesnt add up to me.

Overall to be conservative:

1 Top-8 QB

2 Top-12 RBs and another Top-24

2 Top-12 WR and another Top-30

1 Top-12 TE

To me thats an incredible 12-team draft.

The fact you have 6 Top-30 players at their position(and likely only start 5) means you did VERY well because not everyone will have 2 Top-12 RBs and 2 Top-12 WRs, there just aren't enough to go around plus you have no clue what Javonte Williams might be. Could be a full-on time share or he could be the guy halfway thru the season. I also love the lotto ticket play of Lance

I think it all comes down to Gibson and Davis. If they can be a RB1 and RB2 then I like it. Plus Gus Edwards could be HUGE for you(and as im typing it, he might supplant Davis as your RB2) now if Dobbins is out. AJ Dillon has flex potential and if Jones gets hurt he will be incredible for you. And you have 3 VERY capable WRs

No clue on the IDPs fyi

I had the Kyle Pitts sticker in my hand when I picked kupp but said I rather have 3 capable WRs if I have to punt TE. I'm glad no one took hockenson.

That worked out well for you. I love Kupp even though i prefer Pitts. I’m probably going to overdraft Kyle but i just think this narrative of best TE rookie season ever is getting tired. He’s not a TE, he’s a WR with TE eligibility. If they use him like a regular TE then Atlanta is foolish

Just got done with this league not really a fan of my team tbh at all, number in ( ) the round I got the player in 10 man, PPR league you start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR and a FLEX along with D/ST and K, This draft really threw me off for some reason some people took 4 QBs, 3+ TEs, 2+ D/ST and just couldnt get a feel for it really weird drafting imo, Also didnt realize it was a 3 WR and a FLEX league until over half way through the draft otherwise I wouldnt of taken Lamar Jackson where  I did.

QB Lamar Jackson (6)

RB DC33 (1), MIke Davis (5), Javonte Williams (7), M. Carter (8), Hines (12), Bernard (13), K. Gainwell (16), Coleman (18), X. Jones (19)

WR D-Hop (2), K. Allen (3), M. Evans (4), Shenault (9), C. Samuel (10), Pittman (11), B. Edwards (17)

TE Kmet (15)

K Butker (14)

D/ST Vikings (20)

Lemme know your thoughts
