Don’t you have to be kinda good to request a trade? I doubt a team waste anything higher than a 6th for him.

Most athletes at this level think they're great though. I still remember Mark Roman of the 49ers requesting a trade, and of course no one bothered to make an offer.

If the 49ers trade for him I'm going to puke.

BTW, it's remarkable that Bill has never drafted a good receiver. Even going back to his days with Cleveland, I think the best he ever selected was Michael Jackson. Unless I'm forgetting someone.

Deion Branch was pretty good, but your point is still valid. That was 2002.

Oh yeah I forgot. But damn. You'd think by just random chance Bill in all of those drafts would have hit on a guy that would be in the conversation for one of the best receivers in the league.

Julian Edelman?

You have to say that was luck as much as anything else. He drafted a special teamer who stepped up when Welker left and Amendola got hurt, I doubt they ever thought he would be the player he was.

On topic, it's adorable that Harry thinks he's worth anything to anyone. He's just not quick enough for the NFL, can't get open even a bit. Honestly might be worth attempting to bulk up and become a Tim Wright-style receiving TE.

Based on Tecmo’s post, I was thinking he was undrafted, but you’re right. 7th rounder. I also have to give him props for giving up a 2nd for Welker. I doubt many people would have predicted he would develop the way he did.

4th rounder for Randy Moss same year too

Say what you will about BB's WR record in the draft, it rarely stopped him from putting weapons on the team.
