Tom Brady played with a torn MCL in 2020

Recommended Posts

Thinking about his season a little bit more, specifically the game in CHI where he forgot what down it was

Soldier field is the worst playing surface in the NFL and it was a night game, meaning it the field was extra hard and obviously the cold can be brutal on joints on its own

No wonder the dude had a mental lapse, he was probably extremely doped up in that game just to be able to play on that concrete in Chicago

I could see him go the JPP route and try to win football games with 3 fingers to his throwing hand

He already played a game with 10 stitches on his throwing thumb

he’s mad that Mahomes changed the game. These younger people have better multitasking and peripheral vision than the older generation due to growing up with cell phones and tablets and gaming. When Brady grew up it was bingo boards and hopscotch okay.

so for Brady it might seem crazy to take these risks from the pocket but he just doesn’t have the skill set to where it makes sense for him to do those sort of things. For a Mahomes it’s just another level he can go to that Brady can’t.

He talked about situations Mahomes exploits like not having to always slide and being able to throw more over the middle and be more careless in the pocket. In reality these things are still dumb for most guys but these new QBs grew up different the most talented are able to capitalize on the softer game even more than the QBs before

he's talking about ambulance balls and personal foul calls on defenses, not about reckless "run right, throw left" stuff. it has nothing to do with the QB's talent, he's talking about how defenses are getting penalized too often.

lol wut he's talking about how if he throws over the middle and puts a receiver in harms way or if he misses the blitz call at the line and the defenders get free shots at him or the receiver its HIS mistake but the current rules penalize the defense for it. You either didn't watch the clip or you just don't care and want to stomp around screaming MAHOMES IS GOOD over and over when no one is talking about him.

They do but I also think some of the stuff going on is just a talent increase like what happens in every sport. Brady isn’t the most talented guy to ever play this game. That guy has a name and it is Patrick Lavon Mahomes the 2nd.

It's impressive how you somehow bring Mahomes into every discussion. I'm convinced you would be happy with Brady winning every Super Bowl until he retires as long as Mahomes wins every MVP and everyone calls him the most talented ever.

Brady is just calling out low IQ QBs who get bailed out by the system, rule changes and flags.

The defense is at a clear disadvantage nowadays, that's his point.

I get that I’m just saying if a guy exploits it it is high IQ. Brady know this as well as anyone cause if you breath on him you get a call. Mahomes like 40 yard run against the Texans in the playoff exemplified that ability, he was moving slow motion thru a defense of killers by baiting their instincts to either swipe at the ball or avoid the penalty. That’s on the defense for not adapting to the new rules and finding the happy medium. Yea sometimes the league goes overboard with these calls but when you got that class action concussion lawsuit and these guys getting bigger and stronger they had to do it for the safety of the players

What he is talking about has nothing to do with talent... its mental mistakes. What are you even on about?
