The only way DeRozan to the Lakers would work would be if he took a significant pay cut, MLE ($7M?) or if it was a S&T? @CWood21 @Leader @TheRealMcCoy

Kuzma + Harrell for DeRozan on a 2 yr/$45M deal?

I've been out of pocket recently (when it's come to NBA news....) is this supposed to be a real thing or vintage NYRaider fantasy?

It's why I'd rather get Hield.

If DeMar is willing to come for cheap for a year, then you take him no question even with the fit concerns.

But, if Dallas wants to pay him a lot of $, then they can go ahead and do that lol.

The Mavericks were 8th in 3PM last season and Luka shot the 3 at a crazy clip in the playoffs, they're reportedly bringing back THJ as well. Plus having KP at the 5 who is a solid 3P shooter helps their spacing either way.

They need someone that can create their own offense and create for others outside of Luka. DeRozan is coming off of a 22 ppg/7 apg season.

DeRozan just did an interview with Shannon Sharpe discussing how much he'd love to play for the Lakers, lol.

Why don't you think he's a really good player?

Who Adams? Because he isn’t. He’s an average player. He hasn’t been really good in like 4 years. He can’t move. Has no offensive skill set. He’s just a strong big who can’t block shots and dunk. Nothing special.

They probably hope he can come back later in the season.

They're definitely not going to rush him back. The entire reason he was pissed at the Spurs and wanted out was injury related, lol.

It looks like Kawhi Leonard will miss some time next season, if not all of it.

Typically, the recovery timeline for a partially torn ACL is similar to that of a complete tear, so Leonard is looking at about nine months.

That means you're acting crazy or doing too much... ie acting like @NYRaider usually does when he enters troll mode.

The phrase you were looking for there is "out of the loop".

I just post the damn rumors I see on twitter hard to know what's true because Lakers fans think they're getting everyone.

Whatever.

Is there actual conversation between player and team about this?

Yeah, lol. He's getting slandered but dude has been a legit starter on a playoff team like every year he has been in the league and is coming off of the best season of his career.
