NOPE! i said they likely werent gonna sign Ingram nor Houston, two washed up guys.. and you never know, the fact that they waited RIGHT before camp starts to do this gives me, Tuzer Skipper may not have gotten vaccinated vibes, and they replaced him with someone who was.. Meaning we overvalue some and undervalue others. I do think we feel we need to have a somewhat name at each position to be successful, but that isn't the case. Atkins will cost a couple million for a position that we do not need to pay that much too. If anyone else is brought in, it will be a journeyman or it will be a undrafted guy. We did sign Arby Jones and I remember playin against him and he is a load. Simmons, Tart, Jones, Autry, Murchinson as guys that will likely be on the roster. Then some guys with playing experience that could earn a spot in Hector and Hamilton. Then an undrafted guy in Naquan Jones that I like. I think that's plenty and those guys can play or rotate at the NT to do the job that Daquan did if not better. I think the Line/OLB will be this year's hot topic along with TE. "Why we didn't sign this player, draft that player or trade for that player?" Simon is an athletic guy that I thought we'd made a run at a season or two ago. He is a good rotational piece. The DL I’m fine with but the EDGE position is a hot topic because it’s been basically garbage since Robinson’s been here. By far his biggest flaw. I just don’t think him and Vrabel value the position enough. Simon is a run guy. Sure that’s fine on early downs but he offers very little as a rusher. I mean our run D sucked too so any bit helps I guess. Maybe it helps keep Landry fresh later in the season. Abry Jones was an interesting add but I believe I just seen that he was put on the retirement list.
