Training Camp 2021!

Recommended Posts

This is basically all the position and players I'm extremely interested to see play out.

Trey Lance vs Jimmy G.

#3 WR competition Richie James, Sanu, Hurd, and Jennings.

#2 RB spot Sermon vs Gallman.

Nick Bosa/Dee Ford how healthy are they?

Ambry Thomas can he win the #2 job from Mosley?

Safety Depth competition Marcell Harris VS Talanoa Hufanga.

Who makes the team with the million quality DT we have.

There's of course others but those are the ones I'm going to focus on hearing and watching.

Interested in seeing if Hufanga can continue making plays in camp. Ward gave him a shoutout saying every single practice he was making a play and as good as our safeties are, playmaking is a weakness. Can Hufanga find himself on the field in year one?

LB depth is lacking, can someone emerge behind Warner and Greenlaw?

How do the rookie corners look? Can Thomas challenge Moseley for the starting gig?

How will Banks look once the pads come on? Will Moore develop enough to being able to play, if needed?

Givens has gotten more love than anyone on the defense this offseason, does it continue? How will Kinlaw look in year two? How about our edge situation? Will Ford really be able to provide anything this season? Heck, will he even hold up in camp?

Who wins the 3rd WR spot? Can Hurd stay healthy? Or does the old vet Sanu win the job?

How do the rookie RBs look in camp? Can they challenge Mostert for the starting gig?

Last but not least, the QB competition… or will there even be one?

Football is finally around the corner, can't wait!

Assuming it will be cancelled after day one when we lose the first couple of guys to ACLS 😂

Of all the guys to have to Voodoo Wammy curse us and say it, I thought you'd be the last. We now know who to blame! 😉

Shanahan said the Big 3 coming back from injuries — Nick Bosa, Dee Ford and Jalen Hurd — probably will start out doing individual drills in training camp, might be more than a week before they are eased into team drills.

From Day 1 of. #49ers training camp: John Lynch says Jeff Wilson and Tarvarius Moore are going on PUP. There’s a possibility that Jaquiski Tartt (toe) will go on PUP, too,

Kyle Shanahan says there’s no “open competition” for the #49ers starting quarterback job. For now, it’s Jimmy Garoppolo’s until Trey Lance proves he’s capable of pushing for it.

Tomorrow is the first day of open practices, but today is the first day of camp, yes?

10:17 start time means lance isnt signed yet

100% the right call.

He shouldn't in this system, but hopefully Jimmy doesn't crap the bed. Need to recoup some picks

#49ers Kyle Shanahan confirmed the team did indeed look into #Lions QB Matthew Stafford but didn’t make an official offer.

The team also looked into #Texans QB Deshaun Watson.

Yet there were reports the team was frustrated he didn't come back towards the end of the season when he had two bad high ankle sprains in like a six week span lol.

The Dolphins game and the Rams game to a certain extent was some of the worst I've ever seen a QB try to plant his foot. He rushed back at least 2-3 weeks before he should have.

"Reports" :)

Always gotta think of the old Jim Mora quote in regards to the media and their "reporting".
