Toddfather
Never hated the move. We pretty much gave up nothing to add another vet. Was happy for him yesterday, and hope we continue to see some games like that.

I mean, well, yeah, of course. Those were all awesome draft picks. Man has an eye for offensive linemen, and he knocked the Dillon pick out of the park, I dont think anyone can deny that. But the success of Cobb last game, and if he keeps it up, raises so many "what ifs" if they threw just a small bone to their QB. And this was by no means just a Rodgers situation, it went all the way back to Favre and Moss under Ted. Just a small bone. Perhaps a little of both methods would be most ideal? So many people thought Cobb was washed, but......here we are. Edited October 4, 2021 by HeresAGuy

I dont know if that is a testament to Cobb or a damnation of our WR corps not named Adams. Probably a bit of both. MVS was playing well before he got hurt. If Rodgers had hit him on some of those plays he was wide open, he might have been up there with Adams statically. Lazard has been a beast blocking and some big catches too. Love Laz, perfect number three. He is a great tool in the tool box and does things different than our other WRs, thats for sure. Happy to have him. skibrett15
Cobb is fine I guess. He's likely to get hurt if he plays too many snaps/catches too many balls. MVS is more important to the success of the team I'd say. Losing him hurts more.

Cobb is the 3rd down slot guy.
squire12
Both Lazard and Cobb saw a decent increase in snaps with MVS being out. Not sure I would call any of them distinct #2 as both Lazard and MVS were playing similar amounts MVS snap counts week 1 = 63% week 2 = 66% week 3 = 63% Lazard snap counts week 1 = 68% week 2 = 64% week 3 = 66% week 4 = 79% Cobb snap counts week 1 = 26% week 2 = 18% week 3 = 33% week 4 = 45%
