It's more than likely better for the Colts if he does miss time.

Wentz is awful, that is known. Eason is an unknown, might as well find out if he's gonna be worth anything in the NFL and you can either try to swing a trade(Jimmy G or something), or go in to the next off-season knowing if you need to spend a high pick on a QB.

I don't legitamitely think Carson is "awful". Struggles to stay healthy? Had a moron calling plays and scheming for him for the past 3 years? Doug was ahead of the curve and in the perfect "Meta" in 2017, and then never adapted as the league evolved past him.

Awful is a stretch to be fair, but he's not good at all. The "Carson Wentz: Franchise QB or Fraud?" section of this article sums things up pretty well, IMO: https://www.bookmakersreview.com/nfl/picks/indianapolis-colts-2021-season-preview-and-win-total-prediction/361431/

Honestly don't believe that we really know what he is at this point. In part I did want him to be healthy this year so we could see what he could do in a system that wasn't complete and utter crap. So I could finally make up my mind on what I thought about him ability wise.

He was bad last year sure. Some people like to treat him like he's Mitch Trubisky or something.
