The top guys don't usually do much at the combine, right? Basically just getting measured and interviewed IIRC.

I'll be shocked if any of the top guys go through workouts although I wish Sharpe decides to do the drills and scrimmage part of the combine.

The elite guys usually don't do much and just wait until they can host their own private pro day and/or workout privately for teams that are in the range to draft them.

I'd personally love to see Sharpe go through drills considering he's such an unknown coming into the draft. I'd guess that he either just has a private pro day in a more controlled setting or works out for teams in the lottery though. No real reason for him to risk tanking his stock with a bad performance.

cool cool. Reading a bunch of mocks, there are a ton out there mocking Osumane Dieng to us. Whoever that is but its definitely a trend.

That Sochan guy is intriguing. 6'9 230? Yes please

I'd say Osumane Dieng's upside is probably someone like Brandon Ingram in a best case scenario. If you guys decide to move on from Sexton and are in position to take him I think Johnny Davis would make sense as a potential backcourt partner for Garland going forward. Regardless though you guys are in a great spot with Garland/Mobley as your two building blocks going forward.

I really think at this point its LeVert thats going to be moved at the deadline next year. They just came out and said their #1 offseason priority is to get Sexton a deal. I think a lot of that has to do with providing some backcourt scoring support for Garland.

Its weird because both Sexton/LeVert came out and said they want extensions in Cleveland (holy **** right?!) --but something has to give because unless both take below market deals, there is no way they can afford both, not with Love eating 25M of the cap space next year.

I agree with you though, its Garland/Mobley and then everybody else. They shouldnt be reluctant to make a move with anybody else on the roster if there becomes another opportunity to add a skilled 6'8 230+lb SF. Maybe besides Allen. Hes about the only one I would be reluctant to trade, hes almost in the untouchable category.

Keeping Sexton around might end up being a bad decision for you guys just because he and Garland are both just such small guards. Having Mobley at the rim helps, just like having Gobert helps us with Conley/Mitchell, but it's different in the playoffs when teams can space you out. It'll be interesting to see what your front office decides to do though because you guys could potentially package some combination of Allen/Sexton/LeVert/Pick for another young core player to pair with Garland/Mobley going forward.

I have this feeling that Sharpe is going to go #2

I think that it really just depends on who ends up with the pick. Most of the teams at the top, outside of Orlando, could use a big versatile forward. I think the only two teams with enough cajones to do it would probably be either the Pistons or Thunder though.

This kid seems interesting... @beekay414 @Texansfan713 @Bullet Club @Sllim Pickens

He absolutely needs to get that shot fixed. That thing is ugly and, even with his height and wingspan, that **** is going to get packed quite a bit, if he even bothers to take it.

I'm telling you, we're going to take Christian Braun if we keep our pick.
