Most popular NFL team in each international country

For good measure, Custom Ink also looked at the most popular teams in all of Europe using the same Google Trends data. Here is how the top 10 shook out, with a clear favoritism towards some of the NFL’s most successful teams in recent memory:

1. New England Patriots, 2. Los Angeles Rams, 3. New York Giants, 4. Seattle Seahawks, 5. Oakland Raiders, 6. Atlanta Falcons, 7. Green Bay Packers, 8. Denver Broncos, 9. Philadelphia Eagles, 10. Baltimore Ravens

This is truly a fascinating look at international NFL fandom for a number of reasons and something that you can really get lost looking at. What will be interesting to see is how things continue to evolve with the International Series as they look to expand in Europe beyond just playing in London. Perhaps that will change the popularity of certain teams throughout the country.

But for now, it’s the Patriots that ultimately rule Europe — everybody, even international fans, loves a winner.

If Europe is any indication, it's the Patriots, by far. Cowboys aren't even in the top 10.

Oh so NOOOOOOW they like the patriots all the sudden. 200 some-odd years ago they would’ve strung them up by their toes, funny what a couple of ‘ships will get ya.

I live in UK. It feels like it's either Miami or NYG. I believe that was the first NFL game in London, but I suspect the reason for Miami is that it took off over here around Marino's time.

Anecdotal though, I don't have stats

We beat them into submission 200 years ago and made them our little brother. Then Tom Brady traveled to the future

There is only 1 actually correct answer here. The Cowboys might be Americas Team but the Cleveland Browns are the Worlds Team

"That kind of underdog and scrappy mentality is resonating around the world. The Browns Backers claim to be one of the largest organized fan clubs in all of professional sports, with 363 chapters (groups/clubs) in 14 countries across all seven continents, including one in Pretoria, South Africa."

They even have a website where you can locate the nearest Browns Backer group no matter what country your in called the Baker-Tracker

https://fans.clevelandbrowns.com/backer-tracker

They have chapters in:

Argentina, Austrailia, Canada, China, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Isreal, Italy, Kuwait, Peru, Poland, South America, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tailand, United Kingdom and in every US state.

That's according to link from post above. They used some web analytics to come to that conclusion. Would have thought the Jags seeing as they play there every year.

The Jags aren't unpopular but they are definitely behind a few teams, including:

Dolphins, Raiders, 49ers, Patriots, Giants, probably the Ravens.
