Well our last 2 playoff appearances we barely made it in the playoffs and made it to the AFCCG in 09 and 10. Since 2000 we actually have 6 wins in 6 playoff appearances. The problem isn't us being a bad playoff team. Its us actually ever making the playoffs. We have a 12 year draught that's still going. It's a totally different NFL from when we last played a meaningful game.

It's true our last two outings were very successful. 2006 we were never going to beat another playoff team though. It'd be interesting to know how our Fitz-led 2015 team would've done.

But yeah, though we have the longest playoff appearance drought in the league right now (by five seasons, next after us from the 2010 season is Denver's superbowl from the 2015 season), the Lions, Dolphins, Raiders, and "Football Team" all have longer win droughts, and the Bears have the same.

I barely even remember what it's like being in the playoffs.

100% I think they just knew Chase was too good to pass up. And it would appear they 100% made the right choice in doing that.

There is something to be said about reuniting a college QB and their WR. Cuts down on the “getting to know you” time. If teams like NE, Jax and Chi are smart, they should draft Williams/Metchie, Ross, and Wilson/Olave respectively.

I'd still argue that firing rex was so reactionary and short sighted. He had a system in place and could get the team fired up and ready to go. It was unfair the expect him to crush it every season when he he still competing in a division with Tom and bill.  We should have stayed in our lane, got a new QB and kept going.

Instead, as a franchise we decided that we were going to just blow it up every two years and hope to catch lightning in a bottle. Every reset throws away the draft picks we used on the previous reset because everyone wants to start fresh... It's why Marcus mate is the longest tenured jet at like.... 4 seasons. It's a joke. You cannot build a team without getting a game plan and actually committing to it.

Bengals gave Burrow weapons and no protection.

Y’all still against building a monster wall?

There's no way we can argue against what the Bengals did. Yes he got sacked a ton but Ja'Marr Chase also played a major role in helping them advance. We've already made some strong o-line investments, Zach needs an alpha WR like Chase to lean on.

One things like about the Bills defense is that they don't have 1 big pass rusher, but they all can generate enough pressure. Bosa hit 15.5 sacks this season for the 49ers, but the Bills only had 6 less sacks than the 49ers as a defense. The pressure can come from any direction with them. Makes it tough for defenses to plan for.
