showtime
For all those who may not know, Cliff Avril was placed on injured reserve with a serious neck injury. What do you guys think of this move by the Seahawks and what kind of impact will it potentially have?
BleedTheClock
At this point, Freeney is done IMO. I think he can maybe help the younger guys, but they already have mentors on the roster. I don't really think this move will move the Seattle Seahawk needle in any direction.
jrry32
I am completely indifferent towards this move.

cp0k2
If he had anything left he would've already been on a roster, no?

He was effective in Atlanta last year, surprisingly so. Good move for no risk.
tom cody
Good for Freeney but his best days are behind him. Think this is his last hurrah.

Dwight Freeney is the Duane Brown killer. He's completely bamboozled him in every single matchup during their tilts in Colts/Texans games. Even racked up a few sacks as a Charger, I think If Freeney and Brown match up this Sunday, I'm expecting Brown to give up a few sacks. Mark my words, Freeney will make Brown's life hell. Well it's probably not worth three exclamation marks . It's a decent signing, he can probably still bring it on limited snaps.
Leoric
Decent signing. He isn’t what he once was but can still provide pressure on a QB on obvious pass plays. Great locker room guy, just does his job. He’e A one trick pony at this point but that one trick is still pretty valuable.

Your team can trade Brown to us to avoid that matchup
