kingseanjohn
Looks like Remmers is in at RT and Niang is out. Can't say I'm a fan of it.

I can’t figure that out, felt like Niang was doing fairly well. Perhaps we’re going to trade Brown back to Baltimore for a first, third and Patrick Queen…then slide Niang over? Niang was doing well in run blocking but was giving up too many pressures. he's going to be a stud, but his pass blocking needs to improve. Also, Remmers is pretty good on the right side. onejayhawk
With FB Michael Burton out, it will be interesting to see who plays FB. Noah Gray played some FB in college and he blocks well in space. If Blake Bell can handle the inline blocking, he was FP all week, we could see a few things. Otherwise, possibly Darrel Williams in a throwback to when both RB might get any given carry. J

onejayhawk
I was just looking at that. For Reid, that's strong language. J

onejayhawk
I heard an observation. Mahomes is playing like it is still the 2nd half of the Super Bowl. He runs too quickly, hurries his throws a fraction of a second, flinches, etc. This reminds me of Seattle in 2015. The Seahawks were coming off back to back Super Bowl appearances, winning one, and everyone thought they were locked in for another. Instead they had a list of minor problems and started 2-4. In some ways that's good, since they finished 8-2. In other ways it's not as good. They never got close to the 2014 team again. The whole team is out of synch. HC Reid's son, Clark's legal woes, Mahomes' issues, Gay's mental breakdown. The mojo has gone. Getting it back may not be easy, but we need to start by taking care of business in games like the Giants. J
Chiefer
Ive been watching analysis videos on Mahomes and…its not good. The words “high school QB” level of play have been mentioned once or twice. The bad OL play has been ruining him, hes scared of the rush, not looking downfield, bolting at the first signs of trouble, extremely impatient. I think the toe is bothering him some still as well. He needs structure right now and Reid is definitely not providing it.
onejayhawk
That sounds like his draft reviews. Mahomes is still clearly rattled from the SB. We have a RB for an OC who won't call running plays, which is truly bizarre. J

The games have been called like Andy did in Philly relying way too much on the passing game when they should be running. Whatever process they're using isn't working. If Bienemy is calling plays, they need to have Andy takeover for a bit or vice versa. Edited November 2, 2021 by kingseanjohn
onejayhawk
I think EB is a good OC, but I wonder how much this is his offense and how much its Reid's? J
