lomaxgrUK Posted August 31, 2021 Author Share Posted August 31, 2021 My guess at the further 12 cuts required as of 6.50am EST: Crockett (RB) Freeman (RB) OR Boone (short term IR) Pierson-El (WR) Bailey (OL) Fleming (OL) J Harris (DL) Spencer (DL) Mintze (OLB) Wade (LB) Vincent JR (CB) Ojemudia (CB - short term IR) Marshall (S) The last 2 spots was so difficult to decide. The preseason play of PJ Locke (especially as a gunner on Punts) has thrown a real spanner in the works for our DB roster. As for the RB situation - the Mike Boone injury has also caused us issues. Prior to that, Freeman was a dead man walking. However, can we really go into the opening week with just 3 active RB's? Especially with the #3 RB having to be a very active ST player. Really tough. broncos67 Posted August 31, 2021 Share Posted August 31, 2021 Just saw from Klis we traded Trinity Benson to Detroit for two picks next year + DET gets a 2023 6th rounder. Not a bad haul for him tbh. Wish him well but that’s max return for a guy who would be our last WR. On Detroit he’ll get his shot. The SF-DEN pipeline continues lol. Well that would mean big trouble for Strnad for sure. We still have 6 ILBs on the roster. With Wade almost certainly being a cut, that leaves 4 with Griffith, AJ Johnson, Jewell and surely Browning as locks. So are we going to carry 5 ILBs?
