We were 3-7 when our opponent scored 30+ and 5-1 when our opponent scored under 30, with the only loss being the Dolphins game where Key and Arnette melted down with 17 seconds left.

Lol the fact that 30 points is what you are using kinda says it all.
30 points given up is bad!!!!
You will lose games when you give up 30 points.

Your O shouldn’t have to score 30 points to win games.
with our team, we need too. (at least last year)

Having the 6th most turnovers in the league also played a part in that.

It did play a part in that 100% agreed, but every D gets put in bad spots from their O.
Your Boy Tom brady threw 3 ints in the first half of the semi finals. . . The D got them out of that mess.
Do you think if Carr threw 3 picks in a half, our D would keep us alive?

Brady had 3 Ints in the 2nd half and the Bucs defense allowed 16 points that half.  In the Falcons game we had 3 TOs in the first half (4 play TO on downs, Int, and Carr fumble) and our defense gave up 16 points?  Difference besides the opponents is that Brady's offense put up 31 and Carr's offense put up 6.  We also had 3 TOs in the 2nd half.  Our defense was not complete garbage every game.  They did not show up nearly enough and were no where near as good as TB.  They could have been closer if we would have taken White over Ferrell.

oops, thanks for the correction!
The falcons game our D def came out ready to play. Kept us in it, and everyone on our O kept killing us. (Carr included, but not only Carr.)

But if we are up 21-10 at halftime, and Carr throws 3 Picks we arent winning a game.

Holding packers to 16 points off 3 turnovers is a little different then holding Atlanta to 16, but, I dont want to take away from our D, they played really really well that first half!
(Although, the roughing the kicker on a missed FG (special teams) turned to TD and roughing the passer on a failed 3rd down, were two big mistakes as well. )

Our defense has a very small chance of winning any games if the offense has 3 TOs.  That is a tall order for almost all teams.

3 picks with our D, even Lamar Jackson would throw 8 TDs lol

No team is consistently successful giving up as many points as we did.

The Chiefs are great on O. I'm not sure how much more productive they could have feasibly been.

But if they gave up 28/game, they easily go 8-8, 9-7 last year. If you want to stretch it and say the O gets into the endzone a few more times throughout the season as games wind down, maybe they eek out 10-6.

Chargers, Pats, Bills, Bucs, Broncos, Falcons- all games the Chiefs scored less than 28 but won. So, as I said, you'd have to really give them a lot of benefit of the doubt they could score again.

And that's the Chiefs, widely considered the cream of the AFC crop.

Right! I hate when people try to compare other bad differences to the Raiders and say well Patrick Mahomes have a bad defense or Aaron Rodgers has a bad defense or Kyler Murray has a bad defense. None of them are giving up touchdowns when the other team has 30 seconds or more to score.
