ET80
This is the "revokable in a few weeks" IR and not the "season ending" IR, right? Not a good start either way - I've never been too high on Samuel for some reason.

MikeT14
No surprise. He has yet to practice with the team fully yet. The biggest problem is how Ron & co kept playing off that it was nothing (since May) and if it were the regular season he'd play. Every fan and media member knew this was baloney. This is definitely something that will linger all season.
Trojan
I wonder if they use this spot to bring someone like Sims or Harmon back (or whoever else was at WR that didn't make it because the room was "deep"). I think Sims, at least one of them, was picked up by someone -- but a guy like Harmon would know the playbook and have an offseason+ with the team and staff and might work as a fill in. Samuel is a very good player, he just needs a play-caller who is going to have a lot of variety in the plays that he dials up for Samuel. That is why he was great in Joe Brady's offense. Brady did an excellent job getting the best out of Samuel. Not sure if I trust Scott Turner to do the same, but I think if he's healthy he definitely has the upside to be one of the best #2s in the NFL. His athleticism is up there with the best. Has a tendency to body catch, but IIRC he didn't drop a lot of passes last year so he definitely improved in that regard vs his first 3 seasons. Hopefully he can get healthy soon, I like watching him play and I'm rooting for him. LIS, I'm not sure if this was the best team for him to sign with. I think he needs a team that is going to spread it out like the Panthers did, or like the Saints would/could (obviously they couldn't afford him). But him and McClaurin should still be a very good, exciting WR duo.
