Depends.  If Cousins resigns I'd say stay the course.  If he bolts we might as well blow it up.

Yes, but the right time does not really exist in a game where the ball is soaked and the field is torn up.

Cousins has been very good in this game with no line, no running backs, no outside receivers, no tight ends who can play 2 plays without injuring thenselves

 the difference is the kick block from 77 and of course reverting to terrible play calling leading to that

The line has been giving him pretty good time, Chris Thompson is a monster, and they've still got a great TE (regardless which), a Great slot receiver, and two solid outside guys.

 

Don't kill everyone else so you can prop your man up.

Save for some poor decisions he's been tremendous. You can't ask for much more from him.
