Good to get a win, but still a lot to work on if we want to be competitive with the top teams. D-line needs to step up, Need to get the penalties under control, interior O-Line needs to be better, and we need to be much more consistent. Getting off to a little bit of a quicker start would be helpful to. So far 3 total points in the 1st quarter this season (granted very small sample size).

That's the type of game we probably lose in the past. Not overly pretty, but we won fairly convincingly. Special teams is mess. Can't wait to fire McMahon who still has a job for reasons I cannot fathom.

I think this is a very good point. We were far from perfect and yet so comfortable in the 2nd half.

The margin for error is so much greater with this team this year, and you have to attribute a lot of that to the QB.

You made a great point earlier on about TB's decision making. He makes the correct one about 90% of the time. Combine that with pinpoint accuracy (78% completion through 2 games) and we're dealing with an entirely different dynamic than we've seen since PM, 2014.

Shurmer I thought called a lousy game, Entirely predictable on 1st downs and let off the gas way too early.

Just curious, how much play action did we use after our 1st drive in the 2nd half?

Another win. Another win against a team we should beat. A little slow to start but that is likely the early game after traveling east.

We have another cupcake next week against the Jets and it’s at home in the afternoon. Maybe we can finally get through a game healthy and we should win easily.

You can’t argue with 2-0 but injures, of significance, are mounting (which will give the apologists an excuse if things go badly at some point) and we have yet to play a serious contender, or even a pretender. The 2009 McDaniels/Orton team started 6-0 before the wheels came off. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen this year.

The Paton/Ellis goal of playing meaningful football in November and December appears to be within reach after two weeks. We won two games we should win and have a cupcake next week. 3-0 should keep us in the mix during the holidays.
