It is inexplicable to me how difficult it was for WFT to generate pressure. Like, completely illogical how one of the leagues best DL could barely compete against one of the leagues worst OL. Danny Jones had free reign all night.

Are Thursdays just notoriously weird for defenses specifically?

Maybe its simply not one of the best defensive lines.

that's how you slow down an EDGE rusher.   get them thinking that block is coming

Except he's not an edge rusher. I have no idea how he ever got that reputation. Chase Young's best move in college was squaring up the tackle with leverage, then collapsing inside if the quarterback was stuck in the mush. He is very good at quickly recognizing that stationary quarterback who gets caught inside. The problem in the NFL is that scenario doesn't unfold nearly as often, and Young's repertoire is not special enough in any other area.

Are we sure that front is as good as we want them to be? Especially on the edge?

So....nyg missed fg or punt, and then wash drives for a fg?

this is the overtime game where i can see no team scoring

@N4L

CLOSE AGAIN

We had a shot! That seals-jones touchdown made it an odd score.

Carolina-Houston next week feels like a great chance for a tie!

Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. But what can I say, we do that a lot.

Congratulations to WFT fans on breaking the streak.

OH. MY. GOD.

This 100% is a phrase I started to hear in the Dallas forums over a decade again.   So much so, that I started using it myself.  The common denominator?  Jason Garrett.   Yeah...he's not your Head Coach yet.  Well, he wasn't initially our Head Coach, either.   He was just our under-qualified OC under Wade Phillips that wormed him out of the position with a season worth of shotty play-calling.  Coach Judge is a dead man walking unless he DDPs that daywalker on his ginger head.

THU night games suck for everyone and weird things always happen. Players are only on 3 days of rest instead of 6. I bet it does a lot to their routines.

However, I am a believer in Danny Dimes. I think the Giants next off-season need to invest ever resource they have into the OL and give him a real shot. He makes really impressive throws the majority of the time and he has practically played the last 2 years with 0 run game and 0 offensive line.

If the Giants get rid of him this off-season I bet he could have a Ryan Tannehill type of turn around in the right situation.

Lol Giants will draft a new QB soon, that Danny Dimes dude is just too careless with the football, he is Jameis Winston lite

Honestly, having watched them sunday, they just looked tired.

Definitely not the same energy levels. Chase Young was a wrecking ball on sunday, making plays left and right, here he looked sluggish.
