Watt, Fotu, Peters, Jordan should be the best run defending rotation we have. Kennard is also good v the run, replacing Chandler. Let Dennis take the pass rush snaps. Hamilton is prob the biggest surprise and Jalen is living up to expectations. The Secondary was actually pretty solid last year, just question marks at CB with nobody in that room being consistent besides Murphy, but that safety group was insanely deep. It was even deeper this off-season, so I'm not surprised to see them doing so well. And yeah, Robert Alford is an upgrade over his injury replacement from last year (Dre Kirkpatrick), while Byron Murphy outplayed Patty P and is even better this year. Add in some other new bodies at CB like Hamilton and Wilson and it was a clear upward trajectory for a defense that was somehow good last year. Not even mentioning their first-round LB or JJ Watt.
