I’ll get the invoice to you ASAP for that insight, and when you see the cost, just remember it’s always the friends and family rate for you, my guy 👍🏼 No padding the invoices though. turtle28
https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/football-team/alex-smith-absolutely-believes-taylor-heinicke-can-lead-wft-nfc-east-title Before Week 1, Smith -- now an ESPN analyst -- called Washington the "class of the NFC East" and said he believed Ryan Fitzpatrick would have a big year. Now, even with Fitzpatrick out for a considerable amount of time, Smith is still high on his former team and its new starting QB, Taylor Heinicke. "I absolutely think Taylor could lead the team to a division title, without a doubt," Smith said on Monday via Zoom in a promotional appearance for Gatorade Gx. Smith and Heinicke shared Washington's locker room for several weeks in 2020 after the latter was brought in by Ron Rivera on December 8 as Washington's 'quarantine QB.' Since Heinicke had spent time under offensive coordinator Scott Turner in both Minnesota and Carolina, he already had an understanding of the offensive system. The move made perfect sense. "He would try to stay away from us. In meetings, he would sit in the very back of the room by himself because Coach Rivera had kind of strict quarantine rules with him trying not to be around the other QBs if in case something happened," Smith said. “I don't think the talent is the question at all with Taylor," Smith said. "It really hasn't been over the course of his career. I remember hearing about Taylor when he was a young player in Minnesota, just kind of all the positives about him, that he did have a bright future. To see him come in off the couch last year and just the way he handled himself, I think he realized that. I think he's grateful for the opportunity, but he's got a ton of talent."

Read something recently that indicated that Taylor is focusing on staying in the pocket and developing his pocket presence and ability as a pocket passer in practice. The coaches and others quoted all said that they know what Taylor can do when he uses his legs (including Taylor) but that he is trying to develop the rest of his game as much as he can. And that the TD to Seals last game where he had a little "hop" was when he would usually tuck the ball and run to get on the move. But he went to his 3rd or 4th read and found him in the corner of the EZ. So whatever he is doing, it looks like it's working so far.

I can't remember if it was Fitz or Taylor but there was a seam with Thomas that could've been 6. We ended up either punting or getting a FG

Yeah, I heard that on the radio, I think even Rivera mentioned it in his weekly interview on the Junkies or Kevin Sheehan show.

Heinicke has completed more passes than anyone in NFL history over their first three career starts. This is good and bad. Good because Heinicke has really showed some promise and I am excited to watch him develop. Bad because you don't put an inexperienced qb in that position. Time to run the frickin ball more. Yes, but we beat the Giants bc we threw the ball. Game plans change week to Week. Week 1 we ran the ball more to try to keep Herbert off the field & control the clock. While Gibby was effective, we lost anyway bc our passing game wasn’t efficient & our D was putrid.

RSkinGM
Coaches - God saves us ! Heinicke earns his keep by being mobile extend the play-make a play Q B . So R R Wants him to be a pocket passer and a game manager. We'd be better served if they told Taylor- Hey man, go out there, be loose and do your thing ! Do what got you this far . They'll get his head so messed up- he won't be able to tie his shoe. 👿

They'll get his head so messed up- he won't be able to tie his shoe. 👿 Taylor has to learn the line between being who he is naturally and running the the offense in rhythm so the offense is consistent. I think he’s learning that, he can’t play reckless every single snap but he also can’t be hesitant to take off if there is room to run but, when he runs he has to slide or get out of bounds. We've been here before, back in the days of RG3. RG3 had no regard for his body as a rookie - it was admirable but at the same time some of the risks he took were foolish. RG3 never really found the balance between being able to run a pro style offense in rhythm consistently and knowing when to take off and get yards w/o sacrificing your healthy and the team’s chances of winning. To me, Taylor is already ahead of RG3 as far as being able to be in rhythm and run the offense how Scotty wants it to be run but he can still improve in that area and he needs to take off more if they yards are there to get. When Taylor takes off though, he can’t be reckless with his body. If he is, we’ll then it could be Kyle Allen time.
Jeezy Fanatic
Heinicke strikes me as a Tyrod Taylor type. Kind of guy whose good to have on the roster, can make some plays and keep you competitive enough, but he’s never going to be guy on a team, always a placeholder AAAA type guy
noptov52
I think we definitely saw some of the limitations for Heinicke against the Bills. His arm strength is okay, but he doesn't have the power to hit outside the numbers in small windows. Not a deal breaker, but he has to learn he can't get away with some of those throws at this level.
