I'm all for tanking the last game or two if you're out of it but to call the season at 1-1 after two weeks without losing your starting QB isn't reasonable. Fletch has a huge number next year and then it’s just dummy years. Like as much as everything screams EDGE/Safety/CB if we aren’t taking a QB, it’d be very Howie to take a DT. It's a pretty weak iDL class - I understand the logic of saying that's how Howie drafts, but the class this year doesn't warrant an iDL high. Yeah I see people mention like Leal from A&M and that’s really it. Can’t say I’ve paid attention to them much though. But yeah just going off Howie and the way the contracts are setup it seems like a possibility, sometimes scarcity makes those moves happen early too.
