HDsportsfan
Doesn't Dareus have a fat contract or big guarantee money thru 2018?

HDsportsfan
Suddenly the Raiders just don't seem to be that strong of a team.

The good signings are far outweighed by the bad ones. Not much grey area to speak of either. They contribute well/short period (Ro/DMC) or completely flame out (long list). Not sure if this has made FO gun shy or what. they have to do better whatever the case. Be interesting to take a look at our second round picks and our payback there. DaBoys
And we are officially missing Bailey.
DaBoys
TWill is probably our most successful semi recent 2nd rounder. Well no, I guess DLaw would be. Then there's Sean Lee but that was ages ago.
DaBoys
Jaylon Smith with another missed tackle. What a wasted pick. 4th round comp pick was fine. But 34th? No.

Carr is about as good as Andy Dalton (fairly accurate, fairly good arm, fairly good overall - but not the carry a team type) The defense can hold its own, but is nothing special either. The ground game was never good. Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree are both good in their own way, but both highly inconsistent, just like their quarterback Raiders got a lot of hype because Carr had a nice year, but this team, like their QB, is more in the mold of the Bengals and Dalton than the star studded SB run team they were hyped up to be.
