mission27
People treat Bryce like a bust any year he doesn’t go off like he is right now I understand there was unbelievable hype and he got a big contract as a FA. And the Nationals won without him. And he’s always going to be compared to Mike ******* Trout. But if you actually look at his resume and forget that stuff, his career up to age 28 is incredibly impressive… 265 dingers, .915 OPS, made 6 all star teams and soon to be a two time MVP His most similar player through 28 is Barry Bonds according to BBRef Could the argument be made he’s already a near lock for the HoF? Mesa_Titan
I wouldn’t necessarily say a lock, but he’s already had some big seasons, so he basically just had to have a few good longevity seasons to get there. If he retired after this season there’s no way he’s a hall of famer, even with winning a second MVP. If he plays 5 more years at a high level, though? No doubt. redsoxsuck05
Right now, no. If he hurts his back or something he'd get about as close as Mattingly did, because their production through age 28 is sort of similar.
DirtyDez
You can’t make the HOF if you hate RBI’s.
