kingseanjohn
Really hope this works out but I’m not holding my breath.
RedGold
Lol that’s kinda crazy. I was just thinking about this. I have about 5% hope, But a change was needed.

Hopefully he can pick up enough of the playbook to play vs the Bills. I guess he could come in for a couple plays this Sunday and just go deep to get his feet wet. I would guess one of the LB’s get dropped off for the time being. But I agree about Kemp/Fountain
Chiefs_5627
I guess we will see. I'm hoping for the best but not getting my hopes up. The guy has been dripping with talent just couldnt get his addictions under control. Anything we get out of him is a bonus, he screws up, he's gone. HolmesPriest
He is signing to the practice squad, so who knows if or when he will be able to play in an actual game.
HolmesPriest
but IF.... and it is a big IF ... he does stay healthy and on the right track... this could be a heck of a singing. A decent big receiver across from Hill would be nice, almost like you know, a DK Metcalf type we passed on in the draft
EMAW_KSU
Can he play LB?

EMAW_KSU
Literally everything in our defense is an issue. Giving up 6 ypc is an issue. Yes, dirty Dan having more missed tackles than some teams and our coaching staff refusing to play the younger more talented Thornhill is a HUGE issue. Moving Jones to the outside to increase pressure sure doesn’t seem to be helping or D. I do agree Bolton is playing better every game, I basically just picked a defensive position. onejayhawk
About Gordon, He's been in the news so long it's easy to think he's old, but he's only 30. He had only one good season, but it was a monster, 1646 yards, 9 TD, 30 plays over 20 yards, 18.9 YPC. He has been suspended multiple times for drug usage, including two full seasons. He played 17 games with Tom Brady, receiving 1007 yards and 4 TD. That was 2018 and 2019 and he did not finish 2019 with the Patriots. He once had Tyreek Hill type speed, but not anymore. The question is how much is left. Talentwise, literally no one has ever been better. His problems are all internal. No matter where you go, there you are. EMAW_KSU
Yeah, it is a zero risk signing. To me it is just further ignoring the real problem we are facing.
onejayhawk
It's not zero risk. Anytime you let a serious discipline problem close there is risk. The talent may justify it, or not, but you have to have eyes open. J
mayanfootball
I don't cut him any slack. Gordon will hit the field like "Lucy in the sky with diamonds". So how does he catch passes with "looking glass ties" reflecting each pass like a disco ball? I'll believe it when I see it. For now I'm expecting his paychecks to fund his habit(s).
Bullyball
I would still look to trade for a number 2. See if Dallas would trade Gallup or Texans would trade Brandin Cooks (though I prefer a bigger WR across from Tyreek)
