My expectation was to show improvement in the pass rush and not give up large chunk plays in the passing game. I think mission accomplished. Of course, it still needs to get better. This game was won by the defense, not the offense. I had no faith the defense was going to stop the Pats last drive. They found a way and got it done. No extra credit for style points. I look at this as a positive. Not suggesting crown them a top 5 defense, but I saw enough to believe they are ready to stop being a bottom 5 defense.
