y*so*blu
OT: Coin toss goes our way. "YEAH WE'LL TAKE THAT MOFO," yells Jabrill Peppers. 😄 John Ross shows up again with some nice 1st down catches. If we win this I'm calling him Ross the Boss. Giants hurt themselves with a 12th man penalty. Barkley makes up for it with one of his few GOOD runs, another first down. Barkley then fumbles and Rudolph falls on top of it at the line of scrimmage. Huge sigh of relief. Under six minutes left and we're in their territory. WIDE OPEN is Golladay on a busted coverage and now we're on their five. Now it's to Barkley and HE HAS A GODDAMN TOUCHDOWN! GIANTS WIN! That is not a typo! The Giants spoil the Saints' homecoming (domecoming?) 27-21, and I must be delirious! Edited October 3, 2021 by y*so*blu

Go_Giants
Great win, now the game against the Cowboys can mean something.
y*so*blu
Gotta hand it to Daniel Jones. He did what a franchise QB is supposed to do. When the defense faltered, he willed us to a victory. Missing weapons, questionable playcalling, none of it could stop him today. Not just a win, but our best win in a long time. I'll think about the Cowboys game starting tomorrow, but today I'm getting drunk! 🍻
ny92mike
Holy crap where was this offense? Jason G finally put together a solid game plan.
minutemancl
There was lots of talk of the Giants being the "fightin' Joe Judges" last year and this offseason. That's not the case anymore. This is Daniel Jones's team.
ny92mike
Sounds weird saying this but, I'm proud of how the team played this game. Daniel Jones really showed up, not that he hasn't the last few games but damn 400+ passing yards. Jason Garrett finally figured out how to get Barkley involved by throwing him the ball. Reminded me of his rookie year when Eli was throwing to him. Jason also go our rookie receiver involved in the passing game. Defense refined their game a little but we still need to get more pressure on the qb. Regardless it was really nice seeing the team get a W. However this win doesn't change the fact that Dave must GO!

Giants4eva
My thoughts on yesterdays game. This team showed heart, determination and perserverance in an environment where things couldve easily gotten out of hand. To say i owe some serious apologies to some of the players ive badmouthed in the time they've been here is understated. I cant even express how proud of this team i am after what i saw yesterday. 1- Daniel Jones.... i owe u apology #1. I don't think this guy could've played any better than he did at all yesterday. He finally looked like a franchise qb. Putting this team on his shoulders and carrying them to the finish line in this game. 402 yds,3 TDs (3rd was corrected today by NFL),1 INT (hail mary jump ball) and never put the ball in harms way.. this was without question his coming out party and the best game of his career hands down. 2- Kadarius Toney... i owe u apology #2. This kid made defenders look plain stupid out there. The moves and the slippery ability he put on display was something this team hasn't had in a long time. 6 catches for 78yds?... Ya imma shut my mouth on him now. 3-Introducing... JOHN ROSS. Talk about how speed thrills. He's such a good compliment to Golladay and Toney. Impressive opening game for him. So many kudos to toss around as well. Kenny Golladay was worth every penny. There are guys who catch and guys who go after the ball to make sure they catch it. He's the guy that goes after it. This kid has vice grips for hands and has shown he's a true #1. It just seems every time we play when he grabs a ball, he's gonna be a total nightmare to take down. Love his skill set. Saquon Barkley played a good all around game for us yesterday. The receiving skills out of the backfield put him on full display yesterday. That 50 yard play to score to bring us within 3 pts of the Saints was a thing of beauty. As much as i complain about him with the 500 moves behind the line i cant argue with his hands when comes out of the backfield. Was very impressive. I'm deff not leaving the thanks to the oline out at all. They didn't allow 1 sack on Jones. This group of guys was just outstanding yesterday and did all the right things to keep DJ upright. Defense is the only group in question as of now. Got a lot of problems still with not being able to generate pressure. Couple times yesterday we got saved by penalties on the Saints. Really need this group to pick it up. Edited October 4, 2021 by Giants4eva
