Danger
If there's anything I've learned over the last 2 years. It isn't Brady that I dislike, it's Belichik and the Patriots organization, their culture.

I knew his connection with Brady was huge, but the offense is straight trash without him right now It likely has to do with the idea that Gronk doesn't run routes. He has said as much in interviews. They supposedly let him free wheel and run to where he thinks he will be open. Because he and Brady have so much experience together they have a great understanding of what the other is doing. This makes him the ultimate safety valve. Brady can read his real routes and if he doesn't like something he can just look for the open Gronk. Its gotta be hard for defenders to cover a guy who isnt really running a traditional route tree.
SkippyX
Brady had 18-0 and Asante Samuel did this. He had 2015 Homefield until this: He probably wins in 2011 if not for this: Clowns cry about his luck. He put up 500+ in a Super Bowl and lost. That's not exactly spinning three 7's on the luck meter. Brady almost always has his team in a position so that the rare lucky breaks mean extra championships instead of winning a wildcard game and being happy with that.
SkippyX
In 2002 Peyton Manning was hand placed by the NFL in a joke AFC South with cap hell Jags, old and broken down Tennessee, and expansion Houston and some idiot wants to cry about Jags FG luck? The reason Manning faced the Jags 2x a year is because the NFL wanted no parts of Brady wiping the floor with Peyton 2x a year. How's that for luck?

SkippyX
Remember in 2003 when Brady saved the NFL from the SB winners being a bunch of Carolina steroid cheats? That sure was lucky.

It takes lucky breaks to win championships. There are plays that wasn’t made or plays that were made that decided the outcome of championship games. Not to mention calls or missed calls that decided championship games. It felt like Brady was more lucky than he was unlucky to win all those times with the Pats. Yes he had some unlucky breaks but in order to win 6 titles with the Pats and one with the Bucs he had way more things go in his favor than not. I know it and you know it.

Thelonebillsfan
Tbh I don't think Mac Jones was particularly impressive even with the "as a rookie" caveat.
