y*so*blu
Damn! Someone showed up ready to play. Carter's pick was positively Martinez-esque. 😁 Edited October 10, 2021 by y*so*blu
y*so*blu
If I never see another field goal attempt it'll be too soon.

w4rrior723
The defense some somehow been and to bail themselves out with these turnovers. The offense NEEDS to capitalize on them because the defense will not be able to last. Edited October 10, 2021 by w4rrior723
y*so*blu
1st Quarter: The first minute or so went unaired in my area thanks to the Packers/Bengals comedy of errors, but now the real game is finally on and it's a decent looking drive for Dallas across midfield until a 4th down pass is singlehandedly tipped and intercepted by Lorenzo Carter! We take over. A fairly simple TD pass to Ross is overthrown. Now a drop by Toney on 3rd and short. This forces a long Gano FG attempt that goes wide. Three mistakes in a row that we just can't afford in games like this. Dallas has it back and our defense bends but doesn't break, as Xavier forces an awkward back shoulder throw to Schultz that falls incomplete in the endzone. 3-0 Cowboys. Someone trips on Barkley's left ankle. It looks bad and he comes out limping; bad sign as we go three and out. Dixon shanks the punt and Lamb returns it just across midfield. Dallas seems well on its way to a TD until Dak FUMBLES A SNAP inside the ten. Giants recover to end the quarter.

y*so*blu
2nd Quarter: Giants again do nothing with the ball, and our luck on defense runs out as Ceedee Lamb is just way too fast for Bradberry and Dallas has a 49-yard touchdown. 10-0 now. Jones is getting no time to throw and we've got another failed drive, despite a miraculous sideline catch by Toney on 3rd & 10. Gano connects from 50+ to make it 10-3. Dallas sputters out in its own territory thanks to a tip and near-interception by waiver-wire ILB Quincy Roche. Giants suddenly catch fire! Clutch plays by Toney, Engram and Penny take us to the two yard line but somehow we can't punch it in and Jones has to be helped off the field with a concussion so he's probably done for the game. Not the defender's fault as that tends to happen when the QB leads with his helmet. Booker gets the touchdown on 4th and goal although the broadcast basically missed it, and we're tied 10-10. Bradberry lets an easy pick go through his hands, allowing the Cowboys to score again on the next play. 17-10. Yet again we give up points to end a first half. Baddog calls the game "dysfunctional" and he is spot on. Edited October 10, 2021 by y*so*blu
Shockwave
Wow Golladay out as well... what an expensive game
y*so*blu
3rd Quarter: Golladay is still in the locker room with a knee injury. Mike Glennon gets an okay drive going, then turns back into Mike Glennon. Yet another long FG attempt by Gano is good and it's 17-13. As Buck says, "you don't get points for hanging in there, but the Giants are hanging in there." Cowboys drive again; Zeke takes a bad fall on his hip as he's forced out of bounds by Tae Crowder, but comes right back in one play later to score a pathetically easy touchdown. Should have been a taunting flag by the (ridiculous) standards the league has enforced this year, but as usual they can't be consistent with anything. 24-13 Cowboys. Glennon reminds everyone why he should be a third-stringer, if that, with a poorly timed throw that is picked by Diggs. Clear RTP on Ojulari helps Dallas downfield but Dak is sacked by Austin Johnson. Field goal by the Cowboys. Rodarius and Toney appear to be hurt as the quarter ends, and you have to wonder what else can possibly go wrong. 27-13 Dallas.
Kip Smithers
Wait so no Jones, no Barkley, No Golladay, no Thomas, No Shepard, No Slayton? My goodness.
