Two home games against the Bills and Chiefs, at the Colts, and at the Rams for the next 4 games…. Yikes

We need all hands on deck starting next Monday. We need Julio, Dupree, and hopefully Fulton is good to go. Wonder what we do at kicker because I believe Ficken is eligible to return this week.

Yea man. It makes that Jets game hurt that much more. Going into this 4-1 would have felt a lot better. I feel like we go 2-2 possibly 1-3 in this stretch. In the end I think it’s just us winning our division by default. Optimism is that we somehow find health and chemistry towards the end of the year and go on a run. We have so much to work on.

If we could handle our **** it would have been a nice year to get home field. Especially with having the possibility to beat the Chiefs and Bills back to back. And adding the fact that our division blows and the AFC west is going to beat each other up.

But why would we want to make it easier right?

The thing is, if we're so far away from competing with the Bills, Chiefs, and Rams that we can't win even one of them, it doesn't really matter if we lost to the Jets or not.

If we can't hang with the playoff teams in October, then we probably can't hang with the playoff teams January.

While I understand the sentiment and don’t disagree I feel this mind set gets taken too far by the fan base.   Right now yes our D is no where good enough to slow down the Bills or Chiefs.  And with the way our O is playing we can’t keep up with those teams either.  But this really means zip come October.  We are really just not healthy on both sides of the ball.
Personally I had us 11-6 or so with us potentially loosing the next 4.  The Jets loss put us back but I expected a loss at Seattle so.
if healthy this team at the end of the year can be competitive with anybody and that goes to the value Henry Tanny AJ and Julio with this OL brings to the table

Same that late hit out of bounds was a terrible call

They need to replace these old geezers.

The Claybrooks DPI was horrible.

Gene Steratore or however you spell his name thought the Arnold fumble was incomplete and that Trevor got in for the TD. Fulton should have been called for DPI on Arnold in the end zone. Not even going to bring up the play calls on that red zone trip. Woof.

The personal foul on Simmons for hitting Trevor “late” was terrible. He was still in bounds when he got hit.

We are already a horrible team so no damn way we can overcome the officials too lol

officiating is just so bad right now in general.

i’ve grown pretty numb to the way DPI is and isn’t called lately. it’s a total crapshoot based on whatever whim the officials are feeling on any given play and you’re guaranteed to see at least one bad one a game, usually more. that fulton one was pretty obvious but it is what it is at this point. any team that isn’t one of the small handful of darlings will be feeling that pain at some point.

Spot fouls on DPI are dumb imo. Should just be 15.

I never complain about the refs but the calls they made today on both sides were just head scratching.

Best of luck the rest of the way.
